Yesterday we gathered for cacao. ☕️🌱❄️
Not to perform anything, just to be PRESENT.

Our minds & systems are so conditioned to seek outside of the moment…busy doing, planning, achieving, rushing. But presence leads us where distraction never can. Cacao has a way of creating the space we need to connect to that feeling.

Today marks the Winter Solstice, the shortest day of the year. From here, the light returns. Not all at once, but gradually and consistently.
That’s the reminder we’re carrying forward:

DO ONE THING
SLOWLY.
Eat without distraction.
Walk without rushing.
Slowly sip your morning coffee/tea (cacao 🤎)
Wake up without reaching for your phone.
Pause before responding.

Presence isn’t passive.
It requires attention. Like with anything new, it does take effort. With daily practice, it feels more natural.
And sometimes, it’s the most healing thing we can offer ourselves.

Thank you to everyone who joined, who trusted their intuition on taking part in our FIRST Cacao Ceremony yesterday! It will not be the last.

I’ve been to two cacao ceremonies now, and both times reminded me how simple yet powerful it can be to check in with your heart, your energy, and your mindset. It’s amazing how much a guided, intentional morning can help you release what isn’t yours to carry and step into the rest of the year with clarity and presence.

That’s why we wanted to share this experience with the you all. This Saturday morning, we’re creating a space to do exactly that:

First off, there’s a NEW 8 WEEK BLOCK COMING OCTOBER 6TH 👏💪

We’ve got two more weeks in the current block ramping up intensity, then a deload week to send you smoothly into our next 8-week training block.

👀What’s on deck? Some fun (& accessible) power moves to bring out your inner athlete, front squats (DB or BB) to challenge position + tension, and a spicy new slider lunge variation. Pull-ups + active hangs will live in our “Skill” section, hip thrusts are showing up more often (hello, b***y gains), and of course I’ve got a few surprises up my sleeve.

And here’s the heart of it: building strength after 35 isn’t optional—it’s essential. Regular strength training balances blood sugar (insulin), regulates stress hormones (cortisol), supports muscle + bone (testosterone, growth hormone, estrogen, progesterone), and lights up the brain with “feel-good”. Built for Her is designed to help you feel that difference now while laying the foundation for your future self.

As always, expect work in multiple planes, a little bit of “bro”, and a big focus on quality movement.

I’m always excited for a new block, but this one just seems to hit all the key pieces. 🤌
