Foster needed for mama cat and newborn kittens! 🚨

This timid mama and her newborns were brought to Roice-Hurst today and are in urgent need of a calm, quiet foster home starting tomorrow. We aren’t quite sure how socialized mom is to humans as her stress levels are high and her known history is limited. She’s had an overwhelming day and is currently uninterested in interacting with people.

If you have a quiet spare bedroom, bathroom, or walk-in closet for this little family and are willing to potentially provide supplemental care (like bottle feeding) if necessary, please submit a foster application at rhhumanesociety.org/foster.

After only 7 weeks of life, little Chloe was miserable. Her guardian brought her to The BIG FIX Hospital (the only animal hospital in all of Northern Uganda) after noticing Chloe had some bumps on her abdomen.
Upon examination, our doctors found Chloe had myiasis (mango fly larvae infestation). The larvae were squeezed out and Chloe was given a warm bath. Chloe was sent home with medication and has a good prognosis. As you can see from her discharge photo, Chloe was feeling much better when she went home.
