Hello from La Villa Grande. Today we celebrated National Senior Day!!!! We had hamburgers, hot dogs, potato salad, baked beans, and strawberry shortcake for dessert. We also had tea, lemonade, and soda to wash it all down with.
Thank you to everyone that made the event very successful!! The food tasted great and the laughter made it even better. Hope all of the Seniors out there today had a marvelous day!

Hello from La Villa Grande. Sorry a few days late in posting our 4th of July fun. On the 3rd we had a picnic out on our Columbine patio. We enjoyed subway sandwiches, chips, potato salad, watermelon and lemonade and tea to drink. There was fun times had by all.
We would like to thank everyone that helped get the picnic going. We enjoyed the food, the company and the memories. Hope everyone’s holiday was a success!

Hello from La Villa Grande. We have been staying busy. One of favorite games is balloon swat. We think the best part is when the balloon tells us it is time to stop!!!! We have been playing poker and the trophy keeps moving around! Our craft days are filled of making fun things and even getting ready for the 4th of July. There is a very special mistake in one of the flags. Can you see it? Let us know what you see.. Then our fingernails get pampered as well. We would like to thank everyone that helps keep us busy. As the saying goes - Laughter is the best Medicine.

Yesterday we celebrated Father’s Day with chips and guacamole, summer sausage, cheese and crackers, Chex mix, watermelon, mini-cupcakes, sodas , tea and of course beer!(non-alcoholic). After the party we continued celebrating with BINGO. There were prizes for the most games won!!!

We would like to thank everyone that helped make this a super fun day for dads and everyone else who came to celebrate.

Now that our Patios are finished, here is how they turned out. We planted tomatoes, green peppers, pumpkins, squash, basil, parsley, oregano, mint, rosemary, marigolds, snapdragons, pansy’s, petunias, and blueberry bushes. Then our strawberries are flourishing, the Easter lilies, Columbines and a lemon bush are making come backs.
We would like to thank Cathy at Peach Tree True Value Hardware store for donating supplies and plants to help get our patios on their way this year!!!!!!! We truly appreciate it very,
very much! Now the hard part begins, keeping up with all of them.

Well for National Pick A Strawberry Day we got to pick our first one of the season!!! It was delicious, sweet and refreshing. Can’t wait for more!! Enjoy your strawberries today!
