Once you are on PESI's mailing list for mental health trainings...
Each year I would get these, think about it, then throw them away.
Starting in 2023. I saved them just to see how many of these I get. The answer is 70.

I was surprised to find out On December 23rd, when Congress passed the $1.7 trillion omnibus spending package, that it also contained the Mental Health Access Improvement Act, which lets LPCs and MFTs Bill Medicare the same as Social Workers and Psychologists.

It begins Jan 1 2024, one year from now.

I think this is exciting. Although I don't know if I want to see a bunch of old folks (ha ha), at least LPCs will now have the option to see Medicare patients.
