Laying the Foundation: Why Swedish Massage is the Cornerstone of Our Curriculum

It's the final week for our dedicated students in their Swedish Massage module! 🥳 This week marks a massive milestone, as it's the first full-body, table massage technique our future therapists have mastered (after their initial deep dives into Chair Massage and Reflexology).

Why start with Swedish? Because it’s more than just relaxation—it’s the essential foundation upon which an entire career is built.

The five core strokes—effleurage, petrissage, friction, tapotement, and vibration—are the building blocks that will inform every other technique they learn, from deep tissue to prenatal to sports massage.

Mastering this modality gives our students the confidence and anatomical knowledge needed to effectively treat a wide range of clients.
