Established in 1988, MarillacHealth offers our patients a “healthcare home,” a place where they can come for ALL their healthcare needs. MarillacHealth accepts Medicaid, Medicare, CICP, uninsured and some commercial insurance. A sliding scale discount program is available to anyone and is based on family income and household size. We provide a wide scope of primary health care services to all Mesa County residents regardless of income or insurance status.

The Workforce Center is home to a Disabled Veterans Outreach Program (DVOP) Specialist, a state employee dedicated to serving qualified veterans in Mesa County.

The DVOP Specialist provides individualized career services to eligible veterans, helping them overcome employment barriers and achieve their employment goals. This includes personalized career guidance, job search assistance, and referrals to supportive resources that help veterans achieve long-term success. By working closely with veterans, the specialist helps identify transferable skills, prepare for interviews, and facilitate employment of participants by partnering with the business services team to connect with employers who value the unique experience veterans bring to the workplace.

Having this resource located onsite ensures that veterans in our community can access specialized support without needing to travel far or navigate multiple agencies. It’s one way the Workforce Center is committed to meeting the needs of those who have served our country.

If you’re a veteran interested in learning more, stop by the Workforce Center or call us at 970-248-7560 to connect with Employment Services.

Oh, what an exciting week it's been here at the new building! Every day was an adventure, from learning how to use the coffeemaker to getting boxes where they needed to be, to giving tours without getting lost.

And all week, we've been especially mindful and thankful for our wonderful teammates, our good friends , Chamberlin Architects, , our patients who give us a mission to fulfill, and our generous and supportive community.

Thank you, Mesa County!
