Art Workshop: Macramé Keychains

Our Art Workshop got a little creative this week as residents tried their hand at macramé and made their very own keychains!

From learning the knots to choosing colors and styles, each piece turned out unique and full of personality. It was a fun, hands-on project that brought lots of conversation, creativity, and a few laughs along the way.

Not only was it a great activity for hand-eye coordination, but it also brought back wonderful memories of the amazing macramé projects many used to create back in the day. It was so special to see those skills and memories come to life again.

Another great day of creating something meaningful together at Grand Valley! 😊

🌿✨ Henna & Traditions of India ✨🌿

What a fun and engaging afternoon exploring the art and tradition of henna! Residents enjoyed learning about the cultural meaning behind the designs and how this beautiful tradition has been used for generations.

Some chose to try the temporary henna tattoos on their hands, others decided to tuck them into their passports for later, and a few were brave enough to place theirs on their forehead 😄

We didn’t capture all the photos, but the room was full and the energy was amazing — what started as a 30-minute activity turned into an hour and a half of conversation, creativity, and connection.

Another wonderful Passport experience in the books! 🇮🇳💛

🌮✨ Lunch Bunch at Fiesta Guadalajara ✨🌮

It may have only been four of us today, but we had the BEST time! Amazing food, great conversation, and lots of laughs made it such a fun outing.

It’s always a bonus getting to see familiar, friendly faces when we’re out — and the service at Fiesta Guadalajara is hands-down some of the best. Definitely one of our top five favorite spots!

Small group, big memories. Can’t wait for the next one! 😊
