🤰 Chiropractic Helps Turn Breech Baby at 37 Weeks!

A case study published June 30, 2025, in the Journal of Pediatric, Maternal & Family Health Chiropractic highlights the successful resolution of a transverse lie breech pregnancy through chiropractic care using the Webster Technique.

At 37 weeks pregnant, a woman’s baby was positioned sideways (transverse lie), making a natural delivery unlikely. After previous attempts to turn the baby had failed, she began chiropractic care. Following a few Webster Technique adjustments and a follow-up procedure with her midwife, the baby turned head-down—allowing for a healthy, full-term vaginal birth with no complications.

This case reflects what we often see: chiropractic care can offer safe, non-invasive support during pregnancy and work in harmony with midwives to promote natural, trauma-free births.

This is why Dr. Joe practices at Healing Horizons Integrated Health Solutions; to be able to thoroughly meet patients’ needs in an ever-changing health care environment. Along with Chiropractic Care, Healing Horizons offers Acupuncture, Massage, Medical Massage, Oncology Massage, Functional Medicine, Craniosacral Therapy, Homeopathy, Behavioral Health and Psychological Services.
