It’s all my fault.
I’m too sensitive.
I didn’t listen.
I can’t make good decisions.

Calling B.S.

People who truly care about you don’t treat you poorly all the time.
They don’t negate your experiences or emotions.
They don’t blame you for their poor actions or decisions.

It wasn’t my fault.
It’s my sensitivity that saved me – listen to your gut.
I did listen; I just needed time to realize what was happening.
I made the best decision to leave.

Learn about yourself. Get away from those who seek to control or tear you down.

Learn to build yourself up, trust in yourself, and embrace your strength. You are worthy of love, respect, and a life filled with joy.

Keep going—you’ve got this. Spread your wings, dry them off, and take flight!

Be Your Own Friend. - NOW!

1. Say nice things to yourself.

If you wouldn't say it to a friend, don't say it to yourself. You wouldn't tell you're friend they're stupid, or fat, or a sad sack, don't say it to yourself.

It's an inside job.

2. Do nice things for yourself.

Don't give away your power to someone else and only expect others to do nice things for you. You'll often be disappointed.

Take yourself to a cafe and sit outside.
Buy yourself a new scarf or book.
Take yourself for a hike or walk in the park.

You need to support and nurture yourself.

It's an inside job.

3. Know your Boundaries and Non-negotiables.

This will take you further down the road than anything and will remove stresses from not being able to make decisions that are good for you.

Know what yes and no feels like in your body.
Decide what is behaviors you will tolerate and practice telling others no.

Yes, I'll repeat that - PRACTICE telling others no. Stand firm. It will become more familiar and easy to do.

It's an inside job.

4. Tell Yourself You Love You.

You must do this. Look in the mirror. Tell yourself how great you are, how much you are loved. This is an inside job.

At some point in life, you may be all that you have. Treat yourself well so that at this moment, everything is alright, because you have yourself.

We're told we need to learn stuff because it will benefit us.

Usually in relation to income
Gain knowledge = more money.
Personal Growth =interact with others better = more money.

What about learning stuff because:
it's fun
it's interesting
it was offered at a convenient time
A friend was doing it

When's the last time you did something that lights you up, something that makes you feel genuinely happy?

Today, my hubby and I finally ventured out into the real world on our bikes. I've been riding on and off, but mostly indoors, perched on the trainer in the living room—just me, my bike, and the TV. It's been okay, but let’s be honest, it's not the same.

But today? Oh, today was different. Getting outside was glorious! Hopping on the bike felt as natural as, well, riding a bike. The breeze on my face, the countryside rolling by, the memories of all the other fun rides we’ve had—it was all wonderful, exhilarating, and left me feeling fantastic. Sure, I might be sore in some unmentionable places tomorrow, but it’s a small price to pay. And guess what? I’m definitely going out again. It'll only get better from here.

Now, here’s a question for you: What’s something you love doing but haven’t done in a while? What needs to happen for you to dive back into it? And if that’s not possible, what’s something else that could bring you just as much joy?
