As a LMNT Partner I'm proud to have nominated local First Responders to receive free LMNT! Because of this program I was able to provide free LMNT to Dive Team Officers from: Ingham County Sheriffs Dept, Eaton County Sheriffs Dept, and Lansing Police Dept. I was also able to provide free LMNT to Grand Ledge Fire Dept. LMNT came through in a big way and I still have LMNT available for first responders. Know a First Responder who could use LMNT? We are a fragrance free household and my kids come home from pre-school smelling of the fragrance that they wash their blankets in. Take a moment to soak that in the blanket that he lays on for nap leaves fragance on his hair and clothes which can still be smelled hours later. We are a fragrance free home. I have been senitive to fragrances in skincare my entire life. I have become more sensitive to scents over the years and will avoid going to peoples houses and businesses that have highly sented products in them. I am so grateful that my children avoid being exposed to most of this and I am even more grateful that I am able to hand craft non-toxic organic skincare for them.

When I say Calendula Salve is a favorite in our house it’s really no exaggeration. It’s used everyday in our house for so many purposes. It’s used for diaper rash. It’s used for sensitive dry skin especially after pool time or long periods outdoors. It’s the first thing the boys ask for when the have a cut or scrape. Since I didn’t replenish supplies for far too long we were scraping the bottom of an embarrassing number of salve containers for the past few months. When I made my fresh batch this week I filled this container I picked up on a whim in November knowing it was going to be perfect for this purpose. It was in use the same day I made it. How long will it last?

This Calendula Oil…. It’s gorgeous. I started it in June and then it sat and sat and sat because life. New life that entered our family, mom life trying to make sure everyone gets the love and attention they need, everyday life trying to keep things moving forward while still taking time to enjoy LIFE. I finally got some time last week and was able to strain it and then I looked at it on the counter for more than a few days. (Adam gives me so much grace in tolerating my project mess in our way to small kitchen.) This oil was actually meant for a different project but I used one full jar plus that extra to replenish our supply of the product that got this whole thing started. I honestly think this is my favorite batch of calendula salve ever. The color, the texture and the aroma and to mention all the healing properties that it contains. This is love, happiness and healing in a tin.
