THE MEMORIAL DAY PARADE un GRAND LEDGE will be May 25, 2024 at 11:00 am/ line up is at 10:00 am at Jackson St.. Everyone is welcome to be in the parade. If you are interested to be in the parade; you can contact me at 517-749-4942. Let's make this a MEMORIAL DAY PARADE "TO BE REMEMBERED".(lets make it a big parade).
The parade will end at Oakwood Cemetery where there will be a ceremony for all our fallen veterans.
Please show and help honor our brothers and sisters in arms.
Remember all are welcome to be in the parade or attend. To all children; there will be a prize for the best decorated bike in the parade.

From the Sarasota County (FL) Sheriff's Office. Rest Easy K-9 Nox 🖤

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the unexpected death of K-9 Nox, a member of the SCSO K-9 Unit. He died last week due to a medical episode.

Nox was a 9-year-old Belgian Malinois who joined SCSO in May 2015. In his eight-year career, his devotion to duty was evident in his performance.

We hope you will join us in sending your thoughts to his human/handler Deputy Ryan McBride, his family, and the entire K-9 Unit.

You were a good boy, Nox. We have the watch from here. 🐾
