Big milestone for Vital Adjustment this week

Our newsletter grew by 7 new subscribers (37 total now!)

We had our first signups come in through lead magnets

And on YouTube, the channel jumped from 42 → 169 subscribers in just over a week!

I started the newsletter last fall, and YouTube back in February, but June was when I decided to really take this seriously. What’s worked best:

👉 Focusing only on mobility (instead of juggling multiple areas)
👉 Sharing what I know best posture, pain management, and stability from my chiropractic background
👉 Creating simple lead magnets to help people right away

It feels good to see the first real signs of growth. Thank you to everyone who has been following along this is just the beginning!

Reclaiming Time Through Micro-Moments

We often think productivity requires hours of deep focus or elaborate systems.

But what if the secret to reclaiming your time lies in the in-between moments—the ones we typically waste?

These are micro-moments:

2 minutes between meetings

90 seconds waiting in line

5 minutes before a call starts

Instead of scrolling or zoning out, what if you:

Took a deep breath and reset your focus

Jotted down one idea, goal, or intention

Followed up on a message

Reviewed your priorities for the day

These tiny windows compound—mentally, emotionally, and professionally.

In my experience, micro-moments can:
✅ Build momentum
✅ Reduce overwhelm
✅ Sharpen clarity
✅ Help you stay connected to your bigger goals

You don’t need to overhaul your life.
You just need to own the small windows that already exist within it.

What’s one micro-moment you can reclaim today?

Oatzempic: The Viral Weight Loss Trend Debunked

Oatzempic, the TikTok-famous mix of oats, water, and lime juice, is being hyped as a natural alternative to Ozempic for rapid weight loss. Tempting, right?

But here’s the reality: there’s no scientific evidence to back these claims. Oats are awesome for their fiber, which can help you feel full, but this drink isn’t a magic fix.

For sustainable weight loss, stick to what’s proven—eat a balanced diet, count your calories and stay active! Share your favorite healthy snack in the comments! 👇

Picture this, your schedule is packed, your running 15 minutes behind and the waiting room is full. It’s easy to feel the chaos creep in, and want to rush though everything to get caught up.

As a chiropractor, I’ve learned the power of micro-moments—those brief pauses that ground me before stepping into a patient’s room. It’s simple: A deep breath to clear the noise. A glance at their chart to recall their story. A warm smile and eye contact to say, 'You’re my focus now.'

These tiny acts reset the moment. They show my patients they’re not just another appointment—they’re the only one who matters right then. That presence builds trust, eases their tension, and sets the stage for better care.

Micro-moments don’t just help me stay centered; they create a ripple effect. A patient who feels seen leaves with more than an adjustment—they leave with confidence in their care. Today, try a micro-moment in your work. Pause, refocus, connect. It’s small, but it’s everything.

What’s a micro-moment that’s made a difference for you or someone you serve?

You don’t need another productivity system.
You need to remember why you’re doing any of this.

We try to fix burnout with better schedules.
We try to fix inconsistency with stricter routines.

But at some point, your systems stop working if your vision is missing.

When I feel scattered, I ask myself:
Who am I trying to become?
What kind of dad, provider, or leader do I want to be a year from now?

Your purpose gives your discipline weight.

Don't start your day without it.
What keeps you going on the days you want to quit?

Anyone else feel like their knees turned into rusty door hinges after a long day at the computer? You're not alone.

I used to think this was just "bad knees" but it's actually pretty common for anyone spending hours at a desk. Here's why it happens and some simple tricks that actually help:

The problem:
When we sit for hours, our knee joints don't get the movement they need. The fluid that keeps them lubricated (synovial fluid) gets sluggish, and the muscles around our knees get tight or weak.

Easy solutions:
🔹 Setting phone reminders every hour to stand up and do a few squats or walk around for a few minutes
🔹 Doing leg extensions right from your chair (nobody even notices!)
🔹 Taking calls while walking around when possible
🔹 The "desk break special": stand up, march in place for 30 seconds, then bend and straighten each leg 10 times

The difference is honestly amazing. Instead of hobbling around like your 80 when you get up, you may actually feel human again!

It's wild how our bodies just need these tiny movement breaks throughout the day. We weren't meant to be statues, right?

For anyone else dealing with this - what little movement tricks have worked for you? Always looking for new ideas! 👇
