I am currently designing a wooden case that will be decorated with tarot cards and gold foil that will surround the VCR that I use to play music for our practice.

Most of my practices are designed with a mature audience in mind. That's not to say there is any different content than an all ages concert, but the spaces I intend to create invite a lot of vulnerability and emotion. That can inspire growth, but may need a level of maturity going into it to appreciate it.

April's practice playlist with be a mix of rock/metal and hip-hop mostly. Artists featured will be Tool, Slipknot, Paris Texas, Genesis Owosso, and cancelled artists Kanye West and Azealia Banks. Hope you can join us!

As I reflect on the circles I have organized this year, there was a consistent theme of reaction.

It wasn't a conscious decision, but my intention always was that these practices are a means to ground ourselves so that we are able to react in a more balanced and thoughtful way to life in modernity.

For 2026, I am making a conscious decision to theme my events with more intention towards manifesting.

These self reflective practices will allow us to tap in and gain an understanding of the self that we can extend out to an understanding of others. That will be the means for us to take our intentions and actually make them manifest in the physical world.

We will be practicing the first Saturday morning of the month 10am @ Do Not Start (1265 Godfrey Ave SW Grand Rapids). This first circle of the year has a Neverending Story theme. I plan to be Falkor, hope you can join us!

we can practice at Grand Rapids Yoga Company or a place of your chosing. i have over 20 music playlists to chose from, or we can work together to completely tailor your ritual with music and structure to reinforce your intention. energy transfer (payment) is always donation based. i can offer suggested donations. all people working in instructing self care, or in the providing of care for others, would be half of a regular rate.

there may be a pop-up type circle later this month at Riverside Park. otherwise expect a open public circle at Grand Rapids Yoga Company in September.
