🍫✨ Dessert… but make it heart-healthy.
This creamy dark chocolate “mousse” is rich, smooth, and secretly good for you.
Ingredients (serves 2–3)
1 ripe avocado
2 oz dark chocolate (70–85%), melted
1 tbsp olive oil
2–3 tbsp maple syrup or honey (to taste)
2 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
1 tsp vanilla extract
Zest of 1 orange
Pinch of sea salt
2–4 tbsp almond milk (to adjust texture)
Optional toppings:
Fresh berries
Crushed pistachios
Extra orange zest
Instructions
-Melt the chocolate and let cool slightly.
-Blend everything: Add avocado, melted chocolate, olive oil, cocoa powder, maple syrup, vanilla, orange zest, salt, and 2 tbsp almond milk to a blender or food processor.
Adjust texture
Blend until completely smooth. Add more almond milk if needed for that mousse-like consistency.
Chill (key step)
Refrigerate for at least 30–60 minutes—it thickens and the flavors deepen.
Serve
Spoon into small bowls and top with berries or nuts.
