I have had so many medical professionals ask me what a Doula is when I tell them what I do. We need to ask ourselves how we can so easily trust the medical system with OUR birth if many are not even aware of the benefits of a Doula, yet alone know what a Doula is. Every woman deserves a Doula and as women we need to demand that our voice is heard.
