Exciting News! Pivotal Counseling Becomes Pivotal Healing

We are excited to announce that Pivotal Counseling will be changing its office name to Pivotal Healing in January to reflect our commitment to providing holistic care. As part of this transition, we will welcome a talented chiropractor and functional health provider to our office. Our vision is to offer more physical health disciplines in the future, giving our clients opportunities to treat both body and mind under one roof. Rest assured, as we broaden our range of services, your therapist will continue to provide you with the high-quality counseling you know and trust.

Introducing Dr. Kaitlyn Sorenson

We are pleased to welcome Dr. Kaitlyn Sorenson, DC, CFMP, to our team beginning this January. Dr. Kaitlyn earned her Doctor of Chiropractic from Palmer College in 2023 and holds a Functional Medicine Practitioner Certification, allowing her to blend both structural and metabolic approaches for comprehensive care. She treats both children and adults. With lab results as a guide, Dr. Kaitlyn can create a customized plan that includes targeted nutrition, movement, and lifestyle strategies to support your body’s natural healing process. Message to our wonderful clients, past, present and future....Know that the counselors at Pivotal Counseling are here for you during this challenging time. Most are offering video sessions instead of having you come into the office. We do not want "social distancing" or financial hardship to prevent you from taking care of your mental health. If your income has changed and you cannot afford counseling sessions at this time, please discuss this with your therapist. We are all doing what we can to make counseling available to all. And on that note, if you are not currently seeing a therapist and would like to, please call, email or send a message and we will help to make that happen. Hang in there, friends. We are all in this together!
