Women's History Month Spotlight 🌷
March is Women’s History Month, a time to recognize and celebrate the countless contributions women have made throughout history, often while navigating systems that did not always make space for them. What began as Women’s History Week in 1980, led by the National Women’s History Alliance, was expanded by Congress to a full month in 1987. It is now a time to honor the achievements, resilience, leadership, and everyday brilliance of women across all communities.
Healthy Homes Coalition will be celebrating Women's History Month by highlighting the amazing women on our team.💪
Today's spotlight is Jocelyn Coria! Jocelyn is our Healthy Housing Specialist for the Lead Hazard Control Program and a strong advocate for equity. Outside of work, Jocelyn loves to travel, share a meal with family and friends, go on walks, and cuddle with her cats.
