“I’m exhausted.”

This weekend, a local artist came and installed his work in my workout and I am so happy with it. I think it turned out perfect.

The thread in this piece comes from Panama, from some of the same indigenous villages I visited on a mission trip when I was in high school. That was a lifetime ago… but somehow it all came rushing back.

The detail is hard to capture in photos. The work is incredibly fine, layered, and intentional. The kind of art you have to stand close to and sit with. It’s quiet, but powerful and connects with way back and where I am today.

It feels meaningful to have this in a space where I’m rebuilding physically, mentally, spiritually. A reminder of where I’ve been, the people who shaped me early on, and how those threads still show up in my life today.

Over 10 years ago I was told I was pre-diabetic even though I was skinny. Today my labs tell a different story low A1c, low inflammation, and low triglycerides amongst great labs with everything else.
Recovery forced me to slow down and focus on what I could control: nutrition, blood sugar, hormones, and healing from the inside out.
Sometimes the biggest wins don’t show up in the mirror they show up on paper, your energy and your peace of mind. Those are the wins that change everything. 💖💪🏻

Lately, I’ve been in a season of rebuilding.
Not the flashy kind.
Not the “big wins on Instagram” kind.
The quiet, behind-the-scenes kind.
Right now I can’t lift much. I’m literally rebuilding blood vessels in my arm, and some days just walking a little over a mile makes it swell. It’s humbling. It slows you down in ways you don’t expect.
But it’s also teaching me something.
When I can’t control everything, I focus on what I can control.
My nutrition.
My blood sugar.
My hormones.
My gut health.
My inflammation.
My mindset.
And little by little, that’s how I’m building back the goal of hiking the Smoky Mountains coming up here this summer. Not fast. Not rushed. Just steady.
That’s why this 3 week Foundations round feels so personal to me.
It’s not about doing more.
It’s about building better.

Doctor cleared me to work out, drive, and slowly step back into everyday life again.
The catch? Five-pound weights only.
And that five-pound dumbbell humbled me real quick. My “skinny arm” was DONE. 😂
This recovery season has been hard physically, mentally and emotionally but it’s also been a gift. A forced pause. That healing isn’t lazy. That being quiet long enough to listen actually changes you. As I ease back in, I’m being extra intentional about supporting my body from the inside out:
• Eating simply and anti-inflammatory
• Prioritizing gut health
• Keeping hormone disruptors out of my daily routine
• Supporting recovery with my probiotic + hormone-safe power boost
• Letting food and faith work together instead of fighting my body. Because healing isn’t just about workouts it’s about creating a foundation.
That’s exactly why my building a Foundation Round starts January 5th.

Rest. Rebuild. Reset.
The healing season before the breakthrough.
This December looks very different for me.
After my ulnar nerve and tricep surgery on November 14th, I was forced to slow down in a way I haven’t in years.
And honestly? It’s been humbling and challenging.

When you can’t lift, drive, cook, or even wash your own hair without help, life forces you to get still enough to hear what God has been trying to say all year.
He’s been saying one thing to me over and over:

“Rest. Rebuild. Reset.”

This year held:
• Chronic pain
• Fibromyalgia flares
• Avascular necrosis in my knees
• Burnout
• Hormone chaos
• Divorce trauma resurfacing
• Surgery
• And a whole lot of “I can’t do this without You, God.”

But here’s what December means for me:
✨ A season of healing
✨ A season of clarity
✨ A season of rebuilding from the inside out
✨ A season of setting the foundation for the life I’m stepping into.
I’m eating an alkaline diet, Triple Boost daily, staying consistent with my supplements, and doing everything I can to support my body while it does the hard work of healing.
And y’all… the swelling is disappearing fast. Unbelievable. 🙌

I’m not running a December Coaching round this month I chose to honor what my body needs but I AM preparing something beautiful for January 5th… a brand new 3 Week Foundation Starter Round to reset your body, your hormones, and your habits for the new year.

December isn’t my “off month.”
