Christmas Eve brought so much holiday joy! 🎄✨

In the morning, our residents enjoyed a Readers Theater performance of The Night Before Christmas, with our assisted living residents delivering a humorous and memorable production. We celebrated the cast afterward with a pizza party for all their hard work and dedication. 🍕🎭

In the afternoon, our Christmas Eve Celebration in the MediLodge Chapel was full, with every chair taken! Chaplain Bob Dennis led a beautiful service, with special thanks to Gloria Figg for her lovely organ music and the talented violinists from Lansing (family of Jess from Redeemer Presbyterian Church). Our friends and volunteers from Redeemer helped make the event extra special by assisting residents to the chapel.

The entire day was truly meaningful. Merry Christmas to everyone! ❤️

It was such a delight to see so many happy faces as residents were surprised with special gifts to brighten their Christmas.

We want to extend a big thank you to Angela, owner of Grand Rapids Snack Pack Vending, and Angela's sister in Chicago, owner of Star Kids Math and Science Academy. Your thoughtfulness and effort in providing so many gifts were truly remarkable, and we are incredibly grateful. You have blessed all of us this season by showing so much love. ❤️

“Children are our future,” as beautifully shared by a MediLodge of G.R. resident during the visit from the H.I.S. Creative Academy children. 💕
Children bring immense joy, fresh perspectives, purpose, and growth—filling our lives with laughter, love, and wonder.

This Christmas was especially meaningful for both our residents and the children, who shared their incredible talents through a heartfelt performance. The smiles, connection, and shared moments reminded us just how precious generational bonds truly are. 🎄✨

We traveled to a spectacular Christmas light show at Deer Tracks Junction, and once again, we were WOWED by the festive colors and beautiful scenery! ✨🎄 Before the show, we enjoyed a fantastic dinner at Nono’s Italian Restaurant in Cedar Springs—one resident even treated themselves to a delectable prime rib. Pecan Turtle Christmas Candy

It’s that time of year for homemade Christmas treats!
We had such a deliciously fun time making chocolate, caramel, and pecan turtles—some even turned out looking just like tiny turtles! 🐢✨
Everyone decorated their own boxes to pack them up perfectly, and several residents are excited to gift their sweet creations to someone special.
