Anderson Family Chiropractic in Grand Rapids, Michigan treats the body mind and spirit using the Gonstead Chiropractic method, a hands on only method. Additionally, Anderson Family Chiropractic provides a variety of massage services to compliment our comprehensive list of chiropractic services. Dr. Michael Anderson grew up on the family dairy farm in southwest Michigan. Being the oldest of four children he had the most responsibility helping his father on the farm. He recalls his childhood as one that was filled with school activities, farming and lots of love and family time. His mother was a registered nurse and that led his interest into becoming a physical therapist. While starting on that journey one of his instructors talked to him about chiropractic. Dr. Anderson was intrigued and began researching chiropractic and visiting some local chiropractic offices. The fact that chiropractic was an all natural health approach that did not use drugs and surgery resonated with him. He realized that chiropractic was a perfect fit for his beliefs about health and wellness. He completed his pre-requisites at Grand Valley State University and enrolled at Palmer Chiropractic University, in Davenport Iowa. He received his BS in Science and His Doctorate of Chiropractic in June 2008. He opened Anderson Family Chiropractic in October 2008. He and his wife Heather have been married for 8 years and are parents to Cody 4, and Abigail, 7 months. Dr. Mike finds great joy and rewards in helping families in the Grand Rapids community live healthier lives. Outside of his office he enjoys spending time with his family, golfing and return visits to his childhood home to lend a helping hand on the dairy farm. Dr. Anderson is committed to serving the community and providing safe, alternative health care the families of Grand Rapids. As he likes to say" If I can help you I will tell you and if I cannot I will do my best to find someone who can".

Thank You For 13 Years.

Today I have closed the doors for good on my practice.

It is a bittersweet day for me.

I will miss seeing all of you in my office, but I am also excited for the next chapter.

I want to thank all of you who have come into my office over the past 13 years.

I am truly grateful that you trusted me to provide care to you and your families.

Whether you came in for one visit or 100 know that you will always be a part of my family.

If there is ever anything I can do to be of service please don’t hesitate to reach out.
