Yoga isn’t just about the mat — it’s about using the right support.
In some of our yoga classes, we incorporate props like blocks, bolsters, straps, and blankets to help make each pose more accessible, effective, and intentional.
Props aren’t a shortcut. They allow the body to find proper alignment, reduce unnecessary strain, and create support where it’s needed. Blocks can bring the floor closer. Straps help extend reach and improve mobility. Bolsters and blankets provide comfort and stability, especially in slower or restorative poses.
Using equipment allows students of all levels to move safely, stay present in each pose, and experience the full benefit of the practice — without forcing flexibility or sacrificing form.
Supportive movement leads to better results, greater confidence, and a more sustainable practice.
