Supta Baddha Konasana (Reclined Bound Angle Pose)

This restorative pose gently opens the hips and heart while grounding the body in stillness. By bringing the soles of your feet together and reclining with support, you invite your nervous system to rest and recharge. It’s a posture of surrender, sustainability, and balance — reminding us that lasting strength comes not just from effort, but from mindful restoration.

Just as the body finds ease in this posture, we’re invited to reflect on what it means to live sustainably: to conserve our energy, care for ourselves, and move through life in a way that can be maintained with grace.

What’s in the Reformer Studio? 🤔

If you’ve peeked into our reformer studio, you’ve probably noticed more than just the reformer machines. Each piece of equipment has a purpose—and adds variety, challenge, and support to your Pilates practice.

Here are a few you’ll see in class:
🔹 Reformers – the star of the room, designed to strengthen, lengthen, and stabilize through spring-based resistance.
🔹 Arc Barrels / Spine Correctors – yes, those blue bolster-looking things! They’re used to support spinal mobility, open the chest, challenge core stability, and deepen stretches.
🔹 Pilates Rings & Bands – for targeted toning and resistance.
🔹 Small Props – like balls, weights, and cushions to enhance alignment and muscle activation.

These tools aren’t “extra”—they’re essential in helping you get the most out of each session, whether you’re building strength, improving posture, or working on flexibility.
