Grand Itasca Clinic & Hospital, part of Fairview Health Services. Grand Itasca is the largest employer in the area, employing 700+ people.

Specialty services offered include oncology, cardiology, orthopedics, urology, OB.Gyn, occupational medicine, and chiropractic. The 44 bed hospital has a Medical/Surgical/Pediatrics unit, Intensive Care Unit, and Women's Health & Birth unit as well as a surgery center and comprehensive imaging and laboratory services. The 183,000 square foot facility is located on 76 scenic acres along the Mississippi River.

Grand Itasca employees teamed up with Range employees to participate in Grand Rapids Area's Holiday Gift Drive. Thanks to our employees for your donations and to NAMI for helping to bring some cheer to those hospitalized with mental illness during the holidays, including those at the Fairview Range Behavioral Health Unit!

We’re proud to share that we have been recognized by the Minnesota Department of Health’s Stroke Program with a 2025 Stroke Quality Improvement Award in the Community Champion category! 🏆

This award highlights our team’s efforts to keep stroke patients close to home whenever possible. By expanding staff training and strengthening our partnership with telestroke specialists, more patients can now safely receive the critical care they need right here at Grand Itasca—without the stress of being transferred out of the community.

We’re honored by this recognition and grateful to our dedicated team for putting patients first every step of the way. 💚

Super One shoppers once again demonstrated the strength of our community!

From November 14 to December 1, customers at Grand Rapids and Deer River Super One Foods and Super One Liquor rounded up their purchases or made small donations at checkout, resulting in an impressive $5,060.29 raised for Grand Itasca Foundation's Patient Crisis Fund.

These contributions will help bring comfort, stability, and peace of mind to patients at some of their most difficult moments. Thank you to everyone who participated in this year’s round up. Your generosity truly makes a difference. 💚

A heartfelt thank-you to Starlight Children's Foundation and the Tree of Hope - Mn for donating games and LEGO®️ sets for us to share with our pediatric patients.

Starlight Children’s Foundation brings joy and comfort to kids across the country through toys, gaming, programs, and experiences designed to brighten their stay.

Likewise, Tree of Hope, a Minnesota-based nonprofit, spreads holiday cheer by collecting and distributing gifts to children and families throughout the region.

Thanks to these wonderful partners, we’re able to make visits to Grand Itasca a little brighter for our youngest patients this holiday season. ❤️🎄
