We’re proud to support this transformative investment in cancer care here in West Michigan.
Trinity Health Grand Rapids has announced a $22.7 million investment in the Richard J. Lacks Sr. Cancer Center—an important step forward in ensuring patients and families have access to advanced, comprehensive cancer care close to home.
This investment will expand infusion and oncology pharmacy services, enhance patient spaces, strengthen Centers of Excellence programs, and grow our expert oncology teams. Together, these improvements will elevate access, coordination, and the overall patient experience.
Construction is expected to begin in fall 2026 while the Cancer Center remains open, reflecting a thoughtful, patient-centered approach. With more than $6 million in philanthropic support, this project underscores the power of community in driving innovation and compassionate care.
We’re honored to be part of a future where world-class cancer care is accessible right here in our community.
