✨ Up Next Session Two Recap ✨

Last week, our Up Next cohort came together for their second session, continuing their exploration of Trinity Health and what it means to lead with purpose. From insightful presenters to meaningful discussions—and a surprise appearance from our four‑legged K9 guest 🐕🐾—the session was full of energy and engagement.

Cohort members also had the opportunity to shadow physicians across several departments, gaining valuable exposure to the care, collaboration, and compassion that define our work.

We’re grateful for such an engaged group of future leaders and excited to see their continued growth.

We were honored to have Mary Quiroz volunteering in our office, giving back with the same generosity that defined Dr. Quiroz’s career as a beloved family medicine physician. Pictured with her is Dr. Neil Colegrove, retired physician and Saint Mary’s Foundation Board member, who helped establish the Ernest Quiroz, MD Endowment Fund for Community Health Initiatives to carry that legacy forward.

Through Trinity Health Grand Rapids, the fund supports education, medical screenings, health assessments, research, and more—strengthening the health of our entire community. 🩺📚

🎨 Don’t Forget: Come See Our Guest Artist at Trinity Health Grand Rapids!
Have you stopped by the main lobby yet?
We’re excited to feature the work of Scott Kenyon, our current guest artist and a celebrated Grand Rapids painter with more than 35 years of experience.
Scott’s passion for En Plein Air painting began in Laguna Beach in 2003, and ever since, he’s dedicated his work to capturing the beauty of light in the landscape—a tradition rooted in French Impressionism and strengthened through his studies at the historic Cape School of Art in Provincetown, MA. In 2024, he joined the Cape School as an instructor, helping to carry on its legacy of outdoor painting.
✨ Artist Inspiration:
“My inspiration comes from the beauty of nature. My favorite subject? The LIGHT. Everything under the sun is beautiful if one has the vision.” – Charles W. Hawthorne
This is a wonderful opportunity to explore Scott’s vision, technique, and connection to the landscapes that inspire him.
