🚨 Action Needed: Oppose HB5636! 🚨
Friends, we need your help ASAP! HB 5636 is scheduled for a vote this week in the House and poses serious risks to Michigan families and birthing centers.
HB 5636 will:
Restrict options for breech, twins, and post-date deliveries in birthing centers.
Threaten the survival of small business birthing centers due to financial and regulatory burdens.
Increase costs for families and reduce the availability of free-standing birthing centers in Michigan.
Further harm rural Michigan, where maternal health care is already in crisis.
