S.S. City of Milwaukee ~ a Great Lakes car ferry completed in 1930, which replaced the car ferry S.S. Milwaukee that had sank with all hands in October 22, 1929.

She now hangs out in Manistee, saved from scrappers in 1983 and is a National Historic Landmark.

She provides a cuddly cabin for those with a nomad spirit and willingness to be the Chief Engineer for a night. I kicked a** as the Chief!

I’m pretty sure this photo was for the parish directory@HolySpirit. The pin holes most likely were inspired by one of my brothers sans any pin holes. I find it interesting that my position in the photo is large and overshadowing almost like I’m here to crash ancestral trauma. Go me!! You’ve got this.

Life Lesson - no matter what you do, or how kind you are, people are gonna hate. I believe this has everything to do with the level of kindness toward yourself. You can’t give love 💓 if you possess none.

This lovely Italian woman had everything a human could ever want.
Materially. Yet, she was severely deficient in self love. No amount of tiramisu could shift her mood. Is it even possible? Perhaps, it’s a learning opportunity?!? Let go. Move forward or stay stuck. Alone. And sad.
