Looking to level up your recovery?

Stephen Covey’s The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People isn’t just a business book, it’s closely related to the Book of Philippians – a blueprint for a better life.

Here’s the breakdown:
1️⃣ Be Proactive – You’re the driver, not the passenger. Focus on what you can control.
2️⃣ Begin with the End in Mind – Don’t just be busy; be productive. Know your "why" and your goal before you start.
3️⃣ Put First Things First – Prioritize what matters most, not what’s most urgent. Say "no" to the distractions.
4️⃣ Think Win-Win – Life isn't a zero-sum game. Look for solutions where everyone thrives. 🤝
5️⃣ Seek First to Understand, Then to Be Understood – Listen with the intent to learn, not just to reply. This changes every relationship. 👂
6️⃣ Synergize – We’re better together than we are alone. Embrace the power of teamwork.
7️⃣ Sharpen the Saw – You can’t pour from an empty cup. Take time to renew your mind, body, and soul. 🔋

CHRIST-CENTERED RECOVERY SUPPORT DEVOTIONAL

In John 3, Jesus tells Nicodemus that we must be born again.

Through Christ, we are given a new beginning. When we truly understand that gift, gratitude follows.

Each day becomes a chance to thank God for the new life He has given us and to live in response to His grace.

Most of us think conflict begins with someone else.

In reality, it starts within. Before it becomes an issue between two people, it becomes a matter between you and God.

In John 3, Jesus explains that transformation begins from the inside. He tells Nicodemus that a person must be born again to truly see the kingdom of God.

John 3:16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”

Real change is not just behavior adjustment. It is spiritual renewal.

CHRIST-CENTERED RECOVERY SUPPORT DEVOTIONAL

When you choose Christ, His light begins to shine through you.

People notice. Even those walking a different path can see the difference faith makes.

Jesus is coming back for His church. Not a perfect church, but a people who have chosen Him.

One day the sickness, struggles, and delays will be gone.

Until then, keep choosing Christ and let His light shine.

The heart of Step 3 is surrendering your life into God's care. It is choosing to break the chains of sin and move forward with our Lord, Jesus Christ. 💪

In this woman’s case, it was a crack pipe. This true story shows what real surrender looks like. Not just admitting we need help, but taking action to place our struggles in God's hands.

What would you choose to 'smash' today?

Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God—this is your spiritual act of worship. Romans 12:1

Your choices today determine your tomorrow!

Whether it's your talents, money, relationships, or health - every decision matters. The secret? Walking God's moral road and letting your Creator guide your steps. Make your first step your BEST step! 💪

A new month means a new step forward!

There's a moment when you have to decide: Will you stay in control, or will you surrender to God's power? Just like Paul's three days in darkness, your breakthrough might be waiting on the other side of letting go.

You can't experience God's care (Step 3) without first admitting you're powerless (Step 2). The path to God's power runs straight through our powerlessness. Are you ready to celebrate what you can't control?
