✨ Meet Our New Student Therapist – Sydney! ✨

We’re excited to welcome Sydney to the Massage Away LLC team!

Sydney is a student massage therapist currently completing her training at Blue Heron Academy, with an expected graduation in March 2026. She holds a degree in Exercise Science from Grand Valley State University, which has given her a strong foundation in human movement, biomechanics, and injury prevention.

She is passionate about helping clients reduce pain, improve mobility, and support overall physical wellness. Through her education and hands-on clinical experience, Sydney has developed a solid base in therapeutic techniques and client-centered care, with a growing interest in sports massage therapy to support active individuals, enhance recovery, and improve performance.

As she continues progressing through her training this spring, Sydney is excited to build relationships with clients and continue growing her skills here at Massage Away LLC.

We’re so excited to introduce Mickyla (pronounced mic-KAI-luh), our newest Licensed Massage Therapist here at Massage Away LLC!

Mickyla graduated from Synergy Wellness Academy in 2025 and became licensed in 2026. She brings a calm, grounded energy to her sessions and has a passion for helping clients relax, recover, and feel their best.

Outside of the studio, Mickyla is a wife and mom to an awesome 11-year-old daughter. She loves spending time with her family, traveling to the Southwest for desert hikes, and making plant-based skincare — a reflection of her love for natural, holistic wellness.

Despite today’s snowy and cold conditions, we have decided to remain open, as the roads near the studio are currently manageable when driving slowly and safely.

Your safety always comes first. If you do not feel comfortable driving, please do not push it.

👉 If you need to cancel or reschedule, please notify us as soon as possible so we can offer that time to another client and get you rebooked quickly.

👉 All cancellation fees are waived today due to the weather.

As we wrap up the year, we wanted to share our New Year’s holiday hours so you can plan ahead:
🗓 Holiday Hours
• New Year’s Eve (Wednesday, Dec 31): Open 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• New Year’s Day (Thursday, Jan 1): Closed all day
• Friday, Jan 2: Back open for our regular hours

We still have some availability remaining before New Year’s Eve and openings shortly after the holiday, so if you’re hoping to fit in a session around the New Year, we recommend booking soon.

This is also a great time to plan ahead for the new year — schedulivng appointments in advance helps you stay consistent with self-care and ensures you’re set up as the year gets busy.

Good news! ❄️
Road conditions have improved enough for us to safely open today.

👉 Massage Away LLC will officially open at 12:00 PM today.

For any clients who had morning appointments:
If your appointment was affected, we have already reached out or will be calling/texting shortly to get you rescheduled.

If you have an appointment later today and do not feel safe driving, please reach out to us as soon as you can. Your safety always comes first, and we’ll be happy to work with you on rescheduling.

We also still have appointments available throughout the week if you’re looking to get in for a massage. You can book online or contact us directly—we’d love to take care of you!

Due to the slushy and icy road conditions this morning—and with many local schools and businesses closing—we will be delaying our opening today for the safety of our clients and staff.

👉 Massage Away LLC is planning to open at 12:00 PM (noon), weather depending.
If conditions do not improve, we will update everyone right away.

For clients who have appointments scheduled before or around our delayed opening:
We will be calling or texting you directly if your appointment is affected so we can get you rescheduled as soon as possible.

• If we delay opening or close for the day, we will send out an email notification
• If you have an appointment during a weather issue, we will text you directly with any changes
