Meet Caitie Oliver, LMSW

"I have seen kids' needs change and grow throughout my career working with children. The foundation of my practice is understanding that kids do the best they can when they can, and that behavior is a form of communication. My goal is to equip kids and their parents with the tools they need to be emotionally intelligent, resilient, and prepared for social settings. I am dedicated to supporting children and their families through their most challenging times.

I know that getting kids to therapy is often a logistical issue. That is why I am offering on-site therapeutic sessions. With this option, I can see kids for one hour when they are at school. This decreases the amount of time kids are missing class, and time parents have to miss work.

Even with virtual sessions, it is still your space and I just provide the tools. Hello, I am Melissa Ridge, LLPC, Trauma-Focused Mental Health Therapist. My passion is empowering clients to use their strengths and skills I teach them to heal and grow in their mental health. Therapy is not a cookie-cutter concept; not every therapist is a good fit for every client and that is okay. My specialties are childhood trauma, sexual abuse recovery, substance abuse, depression, anxiety, couples, adolescents, and teens.

"I received my master’s degree from Grand Valley State University. I have clinical experience working with individuals from all different ages, backgrounds, and cultures ranging including the elderly, the LGBT community, and juveniles. I’ve worked with individuals with anxiety, depression, identity conflicts, personality disorders, substance abuse disorders, relationship troubles, and difficulties managing stress and emotions.
