Midwifery is a tradition built on trust. Women should be nurtured, respected, and supported in their choices throughout their pregnancy, labor, birth, and postpartum period. Pregnancy and birth are normal and natural life events. Homebirth has been proven to be a safe option for healthy women. Each woman has unique needs and desires, so I strive to individualize my services to best meet them.

This past week at Heart to Heart…

We welcomed 3 new families into care, had 3 consultations with expecting moms, and celebrated one client finishing their journey with us!

We also refreshed our space, did you notice our sign moved?

Grateful for another week of caring for our community.

Gather & Grow is a quiet, supportive place for pregnant and new moms to slow down, take a breath, and be reminded that motherhood was never meant to be walked alone.

Join us May 4th for an evening of connection, listening, and being held in community, without expectations or pressure to show up any certain way.

This will be our last Gather & Grow for a while, and we would love to come together one more time.

Midwifery doesn’t stop at training, learning continues throughout our careers.

Just like other healthcare professionals, midwives participate in ongoing education to stay current with the latest research, skills, and best practices in maternity care.

Continued learning helps us provide safe, informed, and thoughtful care for the families we serve. It’s one more way we stay committed to supporting mothers and babies every step of the way.

Last week held both tender goodbyes and meaningful new beginnings at Heart to Heart.

Two beautiful families graduated from care, and while those transitions are always a little bittersweet, they are also so full of joy. It is an honor to have walked alongside them, and we already look forward to crossing paths again.

We also welcomed two families for their very first prenatal visits, one new to our practice and one returning for another journey with us.

The weekend before, we had the privilege of hosting a Breech and Twins Training with Kristine Lauria. It was a weekend full of hands-on learning, shared knowledge, and connection. Gathering in this way with other midwives, learning, practicing, and growing together, is always deeply refreshing.

So much to hold with gratitude!

This week at Heart to Heart we added a few new books to our lending library and welcomed four returning families back into our care for the end of the year!

We’ve also been busy preparing for a weekend of Advanced Breech & Twins Training with the amazing Kristine Lauria as we continue growing to better support our community! So excited! 🤍🌿
