This is a great book because it has a reading (short and digestible) for every day of the year. As you may know and have experienced, grief does not restrict itself to a container. Instead, it’s present all the time. Sometimes loud, sometimes quiet. Sometimes with tears, sometimes with laughter.
This is a highly recommended title if you are grieving the loss of a pet (or loved one). It’s okay to embrace grief rather than try and avoid it. It will simply wait for you to be done with all the distractions and then hit you. Grief is pretty complex, just know, you are not alone!

This is such a great read. With grief of pets, comes BIG emotions, unexplainable loneliness, and gut wrenching reminders of the best friend we once had - and spent so much time with.
As I read this book, it offered validation that is can help calm our mind and soothe our broken heart. I highly recommend this book for bereaved pet owners.
I look forward to sharing other books with all of you as we are putting finishing touches on our website.

My name is Zachary and I am the owner of Intentional Impact Mental Health Consultants. I have a Masters of Social Work degree, and have been working as a licensed therapist for the last few years. I have training in trauma, grief, and also anxiety. When I am not working in mental health, I am training my working line German Shepherds in the sport of Schutzhund aka IGP. The relationship dynamics that can be achieved with our animals is truly amazing, and shouldn’t be taken for granted.
We exist because grieving a pet of any species is extremely difficult, and we understand the depth of the human-animal bond. We strive to provide education, validation, and support to bereaved pet owners.
We are looking forward to getting services carved out. Once that phase is complete, we will have clearer insight about when we will be able to start offering services.

We are looking forward to sharing our official website with you. We had a meeting with our Branding Team on Friday and reviewed logos and various service packages. In addition to this, we explored website features and functions. We are BEYOND excited to be working with the various teams we have partered with. When we say this is going to be a game changing service, we mean it!!
Don't ALL animal professionals including veterinary practices/hospitals, pet crematories, and at home pet hospice services deserve to offer their patients support from Licensed Social Workers?
