We’re so grateful to have been part of Beautiful U alongside Maranda
Spending time with such an inspiring group of young girls—talking about mental health, confidence, and the importance of caring for themselves—was truly special. These conversations matter, and it’s powerful to see a space where girls feel encouraged to be themselves and support one another.
A special thank you to Brookville Pediatric and Internal Medicine-North Brookville Pediatrics and Internal Medicine-South Dr. Taylor for leading such an impactful session and reminding these girls just how important their health and well-being are.
This event wouldn’t be possible without the incredible efforts of Answer Health team, who helped the girls create inspirational bracelets and self-care wellness cards—such a meaningful and lasting touch.
We love being part of a community that lifts each other up and invests in the next generation. https://www.woodtv.com/abc4/maranda/beautiful-u/west-michigan-girls-empower-themselves-at-annual-beautiful-u/

We’re proud to spotlight one of our long-standing member practices, Brookville Pediatric and Internal Medicine-North Brookville Pediatrics and Internal Medicine-South, where care is defined by relationships, trust, and a deep commitment to families.

At Brookville Pediatrics, patient-first care is more than a philosophy—it’s how they operate every day. Families calling the office are connected with a triage nurse who provides guidance from both clinical expertise and lived experience as a parent. Same-day appointments, consistent physician relationships, and patient portal scheduling all support timely, accessible care.

As Dr. Taylor shares, “When families call, they speak directly with a real person who understands both the medical and emotional side of parenting. That connection matters.”

Founded more than 50 years ago, Brookville continues to lead in collaborative care, integrating behavioral health directly into the practice.

Dr. Taylor notes, “Our goal is to meet families where they are—whether that’s a medical need, a behavioral health concern, or a moment of crisis—and make sure they feel supported throughout the entire experience.”

We are grateful to partner with practices like Brookville Pediatrics that continue to elevate care delivery while staying rooted in compassion and community.

On World Hearing Day, the specialists at Michigan ENT and Allergy Specialists are encouraging early detection and preventative care to protect hearing for a lifetime.

“I usually encourage patients to start getting hearing tests around age 40,” said Dr. Karlina Didion, audiologist at Michigan ENT & Allergy Specialists. “You can start to compare as time goes on.”

While hearing loss becomes more common with age, today’s increased exposure to loud volumes — especially from headphones and digital devices — can impact children and adults alike. Consistent loud noise over time can cause long-term damage.

Parents should also consider a hearing evaluation if a baby is experiencing speech delays or frequent ear infections. Early testing can make a significant difference in development and long-term outcomes.

Taking proactive steps today helps protect your hearing for the future.

Last week, our CEO Dr. Khan Nedd, MD took the stage at the Grand Rapids Chamber Issues Forum to discuss one of the biggest challenges facing West Michigan: rising healthcare costs and the need for affordable, effective employee benefits.
The conversation was eye-opening—benefit trends are shifting, costs keep rising, and the need for collaboration across providers, insurers, and employers has never been greater. The impact on our community is huge, and it’s clear: we have to do better—together.
At Answer Health, we’re committed to supporting patients and independent medical practices so that everyone in our community can thrive.
