James Vander Hulst, ERN USA President & CDO, had the opportunity to connect with Circles USA members and explore strategic partnerships for community transformation. Huge congrats to our friends at Southwest Michigan Employer Resource Network on securing a grant from the Branch Community Foundation! This funding will provide wrap-around services to support employees and employers in the area. We're grateful for the foundation's support and proud of the Southwest Michigan ERN team for making a difference!

We're thrilled to share that Southwest Michigan ERN has received a grant award from the Branch Community Foundation! This funding will provide wrap-around services to ERN® member employees in the area for important needs such as transportation, housing, and childcare. We're thankful for the support of the Branch Community Foundation and look forward to making an even bigger impact within member companies and the community!

Wrap-around services are a person-centered approach to supporting individuals, providing tailored resources and support to address their unique needs and circumstances. Through resource navigation and coaching, ERN Success Coaches work closely with employees to identify their specific needs, develop personalized plans, and connect them with local resources and support, empowering them to overcome employment barriers and achieve stability and success in their personal and professional lives.

A huge thank you to our amazing Success Coaches who work tirelessly to support our employer partners and their employees every day! Your dedication and expertise are the driving force behind our success. And a special shoutout to Kelli Adams, our ERN Administrator, for her exceptional work in securing this grant and leading our efforts in Branch County! We're grateful for your leadership and expertise.

We're thankful for the support of the Branch Community Foundation and look forward to making a positive impact in our community.

Southwest ERN® employers and strategic partners gathered to celebrate the vital role Southwest ERN® plays in the region's workforce development. "This SWM ERN® event gave us an opportunity to showcase our ERN® Member commitment to investing in their teams, fostering employee retention, and making a meaningful community impact," said Kelli Adams, ERN® Director. We enjoyed food and drinks as we connected to celebrate our collective achievements. It was a wonderful space to network with our employer champions!" In 2024-2025, SWM ERN® served 1,967 employees at 28 employer member companies with 1,963 supportive employment solutions, achieving 12.7% average utilization and 518.1% average employer ROI (ERN USA 2024 KPI Report).

ERN USA spoke to policy-makers, industry trailblazers, and visionary researchers for “Manufacturing Momentum Goes to the Motor City,” a groundbreaking Manufacturing USA national summit focused on solving one of the most urgent challenges of our time: building the advanced manufacturing workforce of tomorrow. ERN USA, serving a manufacturing workforce of 11,717 member employees in 2024, shared how ERNs can drive national strategy at the intersection of technology, talent, and economic competitiveness. ERN USA is looking forward to a fall launch of the Thrive ERN in Columbus, Ohio with Scott Johnson as ERN Administrator lead at Aspyr Business Solutions!

Success coaches are being offered at more Ohio businesses as part of collaborations among businesses to offer resources to employees. One is planned for Columbus this year.

ERN USA is excited to be working with the Mahoning Valley Manufacturing Coalition, our first industry sector partnership collaboration, enhancing the strength of both programs for its members. Congratulations Alex and Julie and the MVMC team!

The program would connect Mahoning Valley employers with a shared success coach to help employers boost retention rates in the workplace.
