Looking for a bilingual (English-Spanish) energetic, friendly, magical, caring, multi-talented Medical Assistant/Office Assistant extraordinaire to join our DPC team!
Must be a quick-thinking, self-starter, open-minded, and health-conscious who is willing to learn and do. This position is a true mix of office/admin and clinical responsibilities where the focus is on caring for patients as if they are part of our family. This is a part time position -- 2-3 days a week, flexible.
Duties:
schedule management, faxing.
maintaining medical records
answering phones and giving information
performing EKG
administering injections and vaccines
chaperone for sensitive exams and assisting on procedures
phlebotomy and specimen processing
assisting with clerical duties within the office as needed
Stocking and keeping track of inventory
There is minimal insurance interaction as this practice is not billing insurances.
Experience:
Excellent communication skills (English and Spanish)
Excellent customer service skills medical assisting
Use of Office 365
Certified Medical Assistant preferred
Phlebotomy skill a plus License: Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) or LPN
Work authorization: United States (Required)
