🜂 A Sacred Evening of Embodiment + Connection 🜂

Join us Tuesday, August 5 from 6:30–9:00pm at The Hive for a powerful coed ceremony weaving heart-opening cacao, deep breathwork, and soul-soothing sound into one potent container.

We’ll begin in sacred circle with cacao and grounding, drop into guided breathwork, and close with a restorative soundbath.

✨ Community integration to follow — stay for salad, sauna, and hot + cold tubs under the stars.

Bring a water bottle, blanket & small pillow, a journal and open heart.

✨Between expectations, pressures, and changing definitions of masculinity, it’s easy to lose our place—or feel like we never had one to begin with.

✨Breathing Into Brotherhood is a guided breathwork experience designed to support men in healing, grounding, and reconnecting with their true essence. This is a space to explore what it means to be a man today—without judgment, without the need to perform, and without having to explain your story.

✨Through conscious breathwork, we’ll move energy and emotion through the body—not to dissect it, but to release it. This is not about talking it out, it’s about feeling it through.

✨It is a call to reclaim what systems, trauma, and conditioning have asked you to forget—the power, truth, and wholeness that lives within your body.

✨Through breath, sound, cacao, and shared ritual, you’ll be held in a somatic, earth-rooted container designed to honor the full spectrum of your experience—grief and joy, rage and tenderness, contraction and expansion. There is no ideal version of you to strive for here—only the truth that wants to rise through your breath and body. This is not about becoming something new—it’s about returning to what has always been yours.

🎨Come create something beautiful, meaningful, and deeply personal. In this hands-on experience, artist Brie Moblo and somatic guide, Leah Grace, will lead you through a meditation to connect with your lineage, followed by the creation of a stunning “Ancestor Altar Cloth”—a art piece that begins with you at the center and spirals outward through 7 to 9 generations.

🙏This is more than an art project—it’s a journey of remembrance, reverence, and reclamation. You’ll leave with a meaningful altar piece and a deeper connection to those who came before you. No art experience needed!

🤍Arrive with your presence, curiosity, and open heart and leave with a greater sense of your ancestral allies plus a powerful piece of artwork to display on your personal altar.

*Please note that this is not a family tree - you do not need to know your ancestral family of origin to create this artwork.

Breathe into a journey of self-discovery! Join us for a transformative breathwork ceremony where we’ll honor cacao and breathwork to reach a new state of awareness.

This is a powerful way to release stress, let go of limiting beliefs, and clear out any stuck and stagnant energy. Let your breath guide you inward to a non-ordinary state that unlocks congestion in your physical, mental and energetic body.

Sink into a relaxing sound bath with gongs, singing bowls and soothing percussion. The sound vibration will help you unwind, realign and find a deep sense of wellbeing.

These powerful breathwork sessions are designed to help you reconnect with yourself, your body, and your intuition. It’s a chance to let go of what isn’t serving you and embrace your true self.

These ceremonies offer a way home—back to yourself, your body, and the deep knowing that lives within you.

Join us at Unity Spiritual Community in Ada, Michigan, for a vibrant Spring Equinox Celebration. This event, co-hosted by The Vitalist Institute and Unity, honors the season of renewal through music, dance, and reflection.

The Vital Hive will lead us in uplifting songs and dances celebrating the rebirth of spring. Participants are encouraged to join in the singing and dancing, with interspersed moments of silent reflection to connect deeply with the season’s energy.

Children are welcome to participate, provided they can engage harmoniously with the gathering’s flow. Childcare services for 4 years old and above will also be available for those who prefer it.

Come together with us to embrace the arrival of spring, fostering celebration through shared music, dance, and contemplation.

*Please bring your own meditation cushions and blankets for floor sitting. Chairs will also be available.

We’re making the call to cancel the Embodiment Class this evening. While we are quite disappointed to come to this decision, we feel it is best to keep everyone safe and off the roads. 

We will extend the series by one week, with a make-up class on Wednesday, March 5th.

Our Story

MISSION: This Wellness Collective GR is formed on the belief that all aspects of life are deeply interconnected and that through collaboration, education, and empowerment we can offer a new vision of wellness to our community. At The Wellness Collective we strive to provide opportunities for anyone wishing to deepen their relationship with body and soul in a compassionate, safe and confidential environment. Each practitioner brings a specialized approach and valuable insight into the wellness journey. We each offer individualized appointments along with educational classes and transformational workshops held here at our center in Grand Rapids, Michigan. WELLNESS COLLECTIVE SERVICES - The Collective features therapy rooms and a large studio space which is used for teaching classes. -The studio space can be rented for workshops, evening classes, documentary showings, yoga and evening wellness classes. - The Wellness Collective is comprised of 27 practitioners offering services such as naturopathic consultations, life coaching, energy work, massage therapy, cranial sacral therapy, to name a few.
