Because of the generosity of our supporters, volunteers, and partners, 77 meals were provided to hospice and palliative care patients across our community.

For families caring for someone they love, even something as simple as dinner can feel overwhelming. A warm meal can bring comfort, create space to sit together at the table, and offer a small moment of relief during a very tender time.

This event wouldn’t have been possible without so many people coming together:

We’re excited to share that Jaelyn has been promoted to Clinical Liaison at Heartlinks.

In this role, Jaelyn will help strengthen the connection between our clinical team and the communities we serve—building relationships, supporting education about hospice and palliative care, and helping ensure patients and families are connected to the care they need.

We are seeking a full-time RN Case Manager to join our Hospice Team serving Grandview and surrounding communities.

Successful Applicants:
⭐ Must be a Registered Nurse with current Washington State licensure.
⭐ Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
⭐ Maintains current BLS certification.
⭐ Minimum of two years’ experience preferred, with at least one year in public health, home care, or hospice nursing.
⭐ Understands hospice philosophy and issues of death and dying.
⭐ Demonstrates excellent observation, problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
⭐ Must be a licensed driver with an insured, reliable automobile.
⭐ Ability to participate in occasional backup on-call rotation.

As an RN Case Manager, you will complete comprehensive patient assessments, develop and coordinate individualized plans of care, administer treatments, educate and support families, and serve as the primary case manager for an average caseload of 12–15 patients — delivering compassionate care wherever patients call home.

💜 Premium pay for hospice-related certifications.
💜 Wage range: $40.00–$54.79/hour (dependent on hospice experience).

💜 Meet Melissa Pickel, Prosser Hobs Manager at Heartlinks. She has been with Heartlinks for almost four years and lives in Outlook, WA. Her family includes her husband Andy, their five children, daughters- and sons-in-law, three grandbabies, and their two four-legged companions, Patches and Diamond.

“I love what I do,” Melissa shares. “I once saw a job posting for Hobs and told my husband it was my dream job — not long after, we moved here and I got the opportunity to live it.”

Melissa also chooses Heartlinks because of her family’s personal experience with hospice care. “They were caring from beginning to end and offered help every step of the way. That experience made me want to be part of what Heartlinks does for families.”
