The sun is bright at Life Care Center of Grandview, even inside the building. Patients and staff had fun sporting their shades last Friday for National Sunglasses Day. Come by and see what is shining at our facility. We have a spot for your loved one, whether for a short stay for nursing, physical therapy, occupational therapy, and/or speech therapy, or to make a new home away from home. Life Care accepts a large number of insurance coverages and would enjoy sharing our space with you or your family member.

Thank you to Pat in Medical Records and Cathy in Therapy for working to get these plants in the dirt!

Pat has a passion for gardening and has been the motivating force to share her skills, as she has done a number of years. Patients from our special care unit enjoyed a morning walk to take in what is "growing in grandview." Pat also had the foresight to imagine recycling an old steam table for planting herbs and has vegetable and flower gardens in containers, raised garden beds, and about the outside of our beautiful building.

What is old and tired will become new and exciting!

Our patient participated in a gardening group activity and saved this sad orchid that we nicknamed "stick". This type of plant can be difficult to maintain. We were beyond excited when it produced these gorgeous blooms.
