Many people have asked me about when I am going to offer CE classes for their massage license renewal.
Good news! Finally I have a few CE Classes approved by NCBTMB.
Here is one of the approved CE classes I am offering in the coming month.

· History of acupressure Assessment, palpate and acupressure points location.
· Using combinations of acupressure and massage to help clients reduce shoulder pain, neck pain, back pain, sciatica and knee pain.
· Pain and pain Theory.
· Benefits and contraindications of acupressure.
· Incorporating acupressure into your professional practice.
After complete this class student will able to:
· Assess the client’s condition to palpate and locate the acupressure points.
· Create the best treatment protocol for the client's condition.
· Know how to apply right pressure to the acupressure points.
· Understand the benefits and contraindications of acupressure treatment.
· The right time to refer client to see their health provider

Wow! Time gone by way too fast!!!
I totally forget this month is my 8 years Anniversary for my clinic open at this location.
Also I don't believe I has been doing massage and acupuncture for 20 years now.
I received my massage certification on March 2003. I remember right after I graduated from the massage school, I get layoff from the company I work for 6 years because of the crash economy. In Grand Rapids everywhere were layoff people, for months I am not able to find other job. Because of that I started my new career as massage therapist.
It was a bumpy roads at first, in this conservative town I have difficult time to get a job in any massage place, anywhere I went was looking for female therapist. Without any options, for survive I started go on my own.
I offer free massage demonstration at the gyms, chiropractic office, and any free events. I don't believe I make it, I started receive call from people right after my first event. I did not have an office at that time, so I did home visit for a year than I rent my first office at one of the health food store at Alpine, It was a 6ft by 8ft broken restroom. Since then I moved many time to other small office.
Until 2015 without knowing it going to work of not, on March 1, 2015 I took a chance open my own clinic with 5 treatment rooms and waiting room area at Grandville Mi.
I am still here today! I have to give a big Thanks for all your support in last 20 long years and many more to come!
