Today is my oldest daughter's birthday! She turns 11 and I wanted to share this story that I wrote on the day of her birth as I find it relevant due to seeing 3 patients this week to help prepare for easy labor and delivery:

"Just wanted to share a story about Rachel's labor and acupuncture. I've been treating her once a week for the past 6 weeks for an easy labor and delivery.
She began having contractions at 2 am this morning, contractions were 3 minutes apart by 6 am. We arrived at the hospital around 7 am where Rachel was at 5 cm. She progressed to 10 by 9:20 and Natalie was born at 9:48. Entire process was less than 8 hours and she only had to push for 28 minutes. We love acupuncture."
