🤰 How it started:
Taking care of your body during pregnancy. Supporting your spine, staying comfortable, and helping your body adapt to all the changes that come with growing a baby.

👶 How it’s going:
Now that same little one is here—and we’re focused on helping them grow, move, and thrive.

One of the coolest things we see in our office is moms who started chiropractic care during pregnancy and later bring in their little ones for gentle chiropractic care as they grow. 💙

From pregnancy… to newborn snuggles… to toddlers on the move—it’s an honor to support families through every stage.

❗FRIENDLY REMINDER: Dr. Acton will be out of the office next week.

📚 Dr. Acton got to read "Dashy Goes To The Chiropractor" to two classes during March, which is reading month! 📚

There’s no better time to turn the page on new ideas, fresh knowledge, and a little inspiration. Dr. Acton has always had a passion for reading—especially when it comes to learning more about health, wellness, and the benefits of chiropractic care.

Just like reading strengthens the mind, chiropractic care helps keep the body aligned and functioning at its best. It’s all about investing in yourself—one page and one adjustment at a time!

Last chance!! 💜

This week is the LAST chance to get adjusted before Dr. Acton heads out for Spring Break!

✈️🌴 Our office will be closed all next week and we’ll be back April 13th.
If you can’t get in, here are a few simple ways to support your body while we’re away:
💜 Go for daily walks (movement = medicine)
💜 Stay hydrated — your spine loves water
💜 Gentle stretching or yoga
💜 Be mindful of your posture (especially on your phone!)
💜 Get good sleep + rest when your body needs it
💜 Take breaks from long periods of sitting
Consistency matters, even outside the office 🤍
We can’t wait to see you refreshed and ready when we’re back!

Your central nervous system controls everything in your body. 🧠⚡

It works through three main pathways:

• Motor nerves – control movement
• Sensory nerves – send information like touch, pain, and temperature to the brain
• Autonomic nerves – regulate automatic functions like heart rate, breathing, and digestion

When your brain and body communicate well, you move better, feel better, and function better.

✨ Chiropractic care helps support the spine and nervous system, allowing your body to communicate the way it was designed to.

Sometimes better health starts with improving the signals.

🍀 Happy St. Patrick’s Day! 🍀

They say a good friend is like a four-leaf clover — hard to find and lucky to have.

That’s exactly how we feel about our patients. We truly are lucky to serve such an amazing community of people who trust us with their health and care.

Thank you for allowing us to be part of your journey toward better health. We appreciate you more than you know!

Your jaw is one of the first places the nervous system tells the truth. Clenching, grinding, holding tension isn’t a bad habit, it’s protection. The jaw tightens to stabilize the head, guard the airway, and keep emotion contained when life feels unsafe.

Over time that holding shows up as headaches, neck and shoulder pain, shallow breathing, fatigue, and a body that never fully switches off. When the jaw relaxes, the nervous system gets the message that the threat has passed. Breath drops, eyes settle, the brain releases its grip, and regulation becomes possible. Sometimes healing isn’t about doing more. Sometimes it’s about teaching the body it no longer has to hold everything.

🫀 T2 & Heart Health 🫀

The T2 vertebra, located in the upper thoracic spine, plays an important role in nervous system communication to the heart and upper chest. When this area of the spine isn’t moving or aligning properly, it can interfere with nerve signals that help regulate heart and lung function.

✨ Why this matters:
The nervous system controls how your heart responds to stress, activity, and rest. Tension, misalignment, or restricted motion in the upper thoracic spine—especially around T2—may contribute to discomfort, postural strain, and added stress on the body.

✨ How chiropractic care can help:
Chiropractic adjustments help restore proper motion and alignment in the spine, supporting healthy nerve communication and reducing stress on the nervous system. By addressing areas like T2, chiropractic care supports overall balance and whole-body wellness—including heart health.

This February, show your heart some extra love by caring for your spine, too. 💙
A healthy spine helps support a healthy life.
