Some beautiful cool season veggies from a month ago 🥰
Did you know you can use the ENTIRE radish plant? 🌱

Highly, highly recommend radish top soup! It is absolutely scrumptious 😋

👇Recipe below
*credit to Common Good Farm for providing us with the recipe in 2019 when we got our first produce boxes!
6 T butter (preferably grassfed)
8 C. loosely packed radish leaves
6 C. liquid (chicken stock / water / combo)
1/2 cup heavy cream
1 C. chopped onions of white leek portions
2 C. diced peeled potatoes
Salt
Pepper

Melt 4 T butter in large saucepan, add onions & cook until golden. Stir in radish tops, cover pan, cook over low heat until wilted (~8 to 10 min), Meanwhile cook potatoes in liquid until soft with 1 t. salt. Combine potatoes, liquid, onions & radishes. Puree in food processor or use a stick immersion blender. Enrich with more butter & heavy cream. I add the heavy cream right before serving. Enjoy this scrumptious treat (:

Hello ROGF Followers!

A lot has changed over the last several months.
We wanted to let you know that we are changing direction.
We have decided to stay in Lincoln NE for the time being. That being said, for now, we will no longer be farming on Nate's family farm in Central Iowa.

However, our passion for healthy food creating healthy, vibrant families remains the same.

We will be changing the focus of the business to helping families who are sick & tired become vibrant and full of energy through the food they eat by offering different challenges, courses, and coaching. With the change in what we will offer, comes a change in name. So we will no longer be Root of Grace Farm but The Simply Nourished Family.

We also had a beautiful baby boy, Hezekiah!
