💜💚💛 Mardi Gras at Granger Nursing Home! 💜💚💛

We brought the spirit of Mardi Gras right here to Granger! Residents enjoyed festive beads, colorful decorations, music, and plenty of smiles as we celebrated in true New Orleans style.

There was laughter, lively conversation, and a whole lot of purple, green, and gold. Some even practiced their best parade waves! 🎭

At Granger Nursing Home, we love creating moments that bring culture, fun, and connection to our residents — and that day was definitely one to celebrate!

🏅 Granger Olympic Games – Let the Fun Begin! 🏅

The Olympic spirit was alive and well at Granger Nursing Home! Our residents competed in sweet (and slightly silly!) challenges using cotton balls, marshmallows, candy corn — and even candy canes!

Even our staff joined in on the fun, bringing lots of energy and a little friendly competition to the games. Nothing beats residents and staff cheering each other on! 🥇

At Granger, we believe staying active should always come with a side of joy.

Our residents welcomed National Bird Feeding Month with a hands-on bird feeder craft! 🐦

With peanut butter, birdseed, and plenty of teamwork, we created feeders to hang outside for our local birds. Activities like this not only spark creativity but also connect us to nature — even in the colder months.

This week we proudly celebrated Activity Professionals Week at Granger Nursing Home with fun dress-up days, lots of laughter, and heartfelt appreciation for the incredible team who brings joy to our residents every single day.

From themed outfits and smiles to creative programs, outings, games, and special events, our activity staff work tirelessly to make each day meaningful and engaging. Their compassion, energy, and dedication truly make Granger feel like home.

Our residents and staff were excited to thank the dedicated officers who serve and protect the Granger community each day. Their kindness, quick response, and friendly visits bring comfort and peace of mind to everyone in our home.

We shared smiles, good conversation, and provided donuts as a small treat to show our gratitude for all they do. It was a wonderful time connecting and saying “thank you” in person.

We truly appreciate our Granger Police Department — your service does not go unnoticed!

We turned back the clock and brought out the poodle skirts, slicked-back hair, and dancing shoes for a fun-filled Sock Hop at Granger Nursing Home. Residents enjoyed great music from the 50s and 60s, lots of laughs, and plenty of time on the dance floor. From toe-tapping classics to sweet treats and smiles all around, it was a wonderful afternoon of reminiscing and making new memories together.

We had a great time at Bowling Day in Madrid on Friday. Our residents enjoyed getting out, rolling a few strikes, and sharing lots of laughs along the way. It was a fun-filled outing with friendly competition and wonderful memories made together.
