As we have continued to focus this year on the Erector Spinae Plane Continuous Block, we spent the weekend teaching 20+ anesthesia providers this block and refreshing on others. We hope to make a huge impact on opioid use/abuse and decrease opioid prescriptions by advocating for wide use of this versatile regional anesthesia technique. A great article on the erector spinae plane catheter. We are very excited about this new (3-4 years of use) block/catheter. We truly believe the ESP catheter may replace epidurals, TAPs, QL, PVB, and perhaps many more. A versatile, powerful, and dense block/catheter. And use in pediatrics!
