"Hi, my name is LaShawnna, and I am originally from Sacramento. I have been in Chicago the past eight years working as a nurse. After completing my bachelors in Health Science at San Jose State University, I completed my second bachelors degree at Lakeview College of Nursing in Danville, IL. I then moved to Chicago to start my nursing career. After working in a wide array of critical care nursing at Northwestern Medicine and The University of Chicago Medicine I wanted to pursue a career in medical aesthetics. Skin care and aesthetics have been a great passion of mine after battling with skin issues in my adult life. Realizing how important it is for women to feel their best always is what drives me to want to be a part of this ever-growing field. I am currently continuing my nursing education through West Coast University’s MSN-FNP program. Besides from working I enjoy spending time with my husband and two children, I also enjoy traveling, yoga, coffee, and being a foodie with all the delicious food the world has to offer. "
