Starting January 1, 2026, CAMTC-certified massage therapists will be legally recognized as healthcare providers!

This is a major step forward for our field, our students, and the communities we serve.

🎉 Huge congrats to all CAMTC certificate holders and to everyone who advocated for this historic win!

Public Service Message

Please do not apply perfume or cologne before receiving a massage.

1. You are in close quarters with the therapist and they are receiving the scent full on 100%.
2. Massage rooms are usually small enclosed spaces trapping the scent and taking over the space.
3. The therapist is manipulating your body. There is transference onto the body and skin of the therapist forcing them to now wear your scent.
4. The lingering scent maybe be a problem for the next client who may have scent allergies.
5. Your therapist may suffer from migraines that can be triggered by strong scents.
