Yesterday Granite Nursing had our fall festive! Fire, food, games and live music was the perfect way to welcome Autumn. Our residents, families and staff had a blast! We make it our mission to bring a little extra happiness to our residents every day and our festivities did just that. πŸ‚πŸŽƒ

BOOgrams can be purchased at the facility in the activities department 8:00am-4:30pm Monday- Friday until October 27th! You can also purchase them via cashapp ($krimic29) if you are unable to make it up to the facility. Therapy Success Story! πŸ’ͺ🏼
Earl is such a hard worker! He needed a little tune up with his balance & strength so physical therapy got going.
He was getting so much stronger that his therapist, Amber, suggested that he start working on walking without his rollator walker.
He did it, Earl is now walking everywhere without an assistive device!
Way to go Earl. We are so proud of you!

❗️❗️Success stories from this week! ❗️❗️

John was with us for a short rehab stay. He participated in Occupational and Physical Therapy, 5 days a week and gave it his all! He was able to regain strength and endurance to return home with his wife! Congrats John!! πŸ‘πŸ‘

Next is Ramona. Such an inspirational story. Completely dependent for transfers and her care. It was unknown if she would make it. Fast forward to today and it's truly night and day!! She can transfer with little to no assistance, her memory and recall has improved, and she can walk without oxygen! We're soooo happy for her to return home! She said she would have never made it this far without her amazing therapy team!! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Success story!πŸŽ‰
Wendell story is nothing short of a miracle! He came to us dependent with everything and requiring a mechanical lift for transfers. Fast-forward and now he is able to walk with supervision for 300 feet, and will be returning home with his wife! We are so happy for this and wish him all the best! οΏΌ
