Mrs. Karen Cook Eaves, 71, of Aiken, South Carolina, beloved wife of Mr. William L. “Bill” Eaves, entered into rest on Thursday, October 2, 2025, in the comfort of her home.

The family will greet friends on Monday, October 6, 2025, at 10 AM at Pineview Baptist Church, 2410 Williston Road, Aiken, South Carolina 29803, followed by a Celebration of Life service at 11 o’clock with her son, Rev. William L. Eaves, II, officiating. Private interment will follow.

Mrs. Eaves was preceded in death by two sisters, Pam Braswell and Peggy Eaves.

Left to cherish Mrs. Eaves' memory with her husband, Bill, are their children, Jessica Eaves and William L. Eaves, II (Kim), all of Aiken, South Carolina; a sister, Terry Hanna (Gary), of Aiken; three grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.

Mrs. Eaves was born in Shelby, North Carolina, to the late Jessie Samuel and Ruth Walker Cook. She retired from the family business, Eaves Oil Company. She was a dedicated member of Pineview Baptist Church, where she was the church pianist for many years. She enjoyed cooking and taking loving care of her family.

Mr. Raymond “Glen” C**n, 59, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, September 6, 2025.

The family will greet friends from 2 until 4 pm Saturday, October 4, 2025, at the Lighthouse Church, Clearwater, South Carolina.

Raymond is survived by his wife of 22 years, Deborah C**n. He was a cherished father figure to Deborah's children, Richard "Scottie" Hawes and Jamie Hawes. Raymond's siblings, David C**n (Elaine), Dwayne Foxx (Tammy), and Rita C**n Walta (Rick), will forever hold him in their hearts.

Preceding him in death are his loving parents, Hazel and Lester C**n, and his brother, Lyman Foxx.

Raymond was a graduate of Midland Valley High School. He dedicated nearly two decades of his adult life to working at the Greg Dye Plant, until the devastating Graniteville Train Wreck in 2005.

Raymond was a passionate Carolina Gamecock football fan, had a love for all kinds of music, and also loved his cats. A true family man, he found joy in the simple pleasures of life, such as fishing and spending time with loved ones. Known for his kind and caring nature, Raymond was always ready to lend a helping hand to anyone in need.

Mr. Kenneth Virgil King, 86, beloved husband of Mrs. Linda Greene King, of Langley, South Carolina, entered into rest on Friday, September 19, 2025, in the comfort of his home.

A graveside service will be on Monday, September 22, 2025, at 3 o’clock in Langley Cemetery, Langley, South Carolina, with Rev. Wesley Greene officiating. Mr. King’s grandsons and Sean Greene will serve as pallbearers.

Mr. King was preceded in death by his parents, Herbert and Dorothy Corley King, a grandson, David King, brother, and a sister, Herbie King and Ann King Ables, mother and father-in-law, Ralph and Ruth Greene, and a brother-in-law, Benny Greene.

Left to cherish his memory with his wife are his sons and their wives, Ricky and Pam King, Todd and Sherri King, Mark and Crystal King, and Len and Denise King; a sister, Aleta Campbell (Curtis); grandsons, Scott King, Joshua King (Taylor), Jeremy King (Sara), Race King (Lorna Mathis), and Karson King (Megan); great-grandchildren, Kinley Michelle, Kaylin Elizabeth, Sullivan, Rowan, Kason, Brynleigh, and baby Cooper due in December; sister and brothers-in-law, Mary King, Sandra Greene, Doug and Geneva Greene, Kathy and Gary Swanson, and Wesley and Debbie Greene.

Mr. King was born in Augusta, Georgia. He retired from United Parcel Service after thirty years of service. Before his health declined, he was a member of Highland Pines Baptist Church, and he was formerly a member of the L.B.C. Lions Club. Kenneth loved the outdoors, especially fishing, but most of all, he loved the time spent with his wife, sons, and their families.

The family will greet friends on Saturday, September 13, 2025, beginning at 11 AM at Harvest Baptist Church, Aiken, SC, followed by a Celebration of Life service at noon in the church sanctuary with Rev. Glen Davis and Rev. David Golding officiating.

Riley was preceded in death by his father, Elbert Riley Herron, Jr., and paternal grandparents, Elbert R. Herron, Sr., and Evelyn Eubanks Herron, his maternal grandparents, John L. Key and Carrie Sizemore Key, uncle Larry Herron, and uncle and aunt, Jake and Carol Brown.

Left to cherish Riley’s memory with his wife Robin are his mother and stepfather, Shirley Key Herron Merideth (Larry); his beloved grandsons, Jorge Negrete and Christian Negrete; stepbrothers, Michael Merideth and Mark Merideth; a cousin who was like a brother, Johnny Brown (Velma); his beloved mother-in-law, Lillian Fields, many aunts, uncles, and cousins, and his much loved fur baby, Bella.

Riley was born in Aiken, South Carolina. He worked as an industrial fitter. He was a dedicated member of Harvest Baptist Church in Aiken, SC, and loved his church family deeply. He was a knife collector and enjoyed working with old cars, but he especially loved the time spent with his grandsons; they were his world.

Patricia “Patsy” Ann Meisinger, 80, entered into eternal rest on August 24, 2025 surrounded by the love of family in her home.
Born May 16, 1945, Patsy was the devoted wife of the late Dale “Lucky Dale” Meisinger. She was a loving mother and grandmother whose heart was always centered on her faith and her family. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Betty Lou LeGrand, sons Donald Parlor, Darcy Meisinger, and Dale “Junebug” Meisinger, as well as her siblings Jonny LeGrand and Jewel LeGrand.

Patsy loved Christ deeply and faithfully attended Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Trenton, SC. She had a gift for crafting, treasured Christmas above all holidays, and held a proud and patriotic spirit. She was an avid viewer of Days of Our Lives and enjoyed nothing more than time spent with her children, grandchildren, and loved ones. Her presence brought comfort, laughter, and warmth to all who knew her.

She is survived by her children Dion Meisinger (Dawn), Daisy “Peaches” Meisinger (late Doug), and Sharon Cook (late Dean); her siblings Jimmy LeGrand and Pam Conklin; her grandchildren Kandace Ruiz, Brittany Effler, Heather Cook, Charity Simpson, Darcy “D.J.” Meisinger Jr., Dion Meisinger Jr., Tiffany Vaughn, Chyanne Jackson, Dale “Free” Meisinger Jr., Myles Meisinger, Richard “Craig” Stevens, Walker Bosdell, Jewel Bosdell, and Chase Bosdell; her beloved great-niece Kristen Horne; and her goddaughter Dixie Ann Williams; along with 23 great Grandchildren. Patsy’s legacy will live on through each of them, as well as the many friends and extended family whose lives she touched.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate her life at Hatcher Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 3464 Jefferson Davis Highway, Graniteville, SC 29829 Thursday at 1:00 p.m., followed by a Celebration of Life service at 2 o'clock in the chapel of the funeral home with Rev. Tom H. Rogers and Ethan Padgett officiating with interment to follow at the family cemetery on Connemara.

Patsy will be remembered for her faith, her love for her family, and her unwavering spirit. Though she will be deeply missed, her light and love will continue to shine through all those who were blessed to know her.

Marie loved playing pool, Listening to British Humor, Elvis Presley,Michael Bublé and Ann Murray.She enjoyed gambling. Most of all, Marie loved life and all of her Family and Friends.

The family will greet friends on Saturday, August 16, 2025, at Philippi Baptist Church, 125 Steeple Road, Johnston, South Carolina 29832, beginning at 3 PM followed by a Celebration of Life service at 4 PM with Rev Josh McClendon officiating.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John W. Swearingen and Neta Swearingen Hamilton, grandson, Anthony “Bubba” Hall and step-son, Robert Allen Wintrow, Jr.

She ran a day care for many years, worked for Sky City, Walmart- where she helped set up new stores, and Beloit Manhattan,. After retirement, she became an avid Ancestry.com expert completing over 100 family trees. She was a talented ceramic artist and loved a good game of Canasta and Phase Ten. Fripp Island, South Carolina was her “heaven on earth.” Sandra loved caring for her yard and enjoying the beauty of all of the hummingbirds that flocked to her many, always flowing, feeders. She especially loved her time spent with her family.

Blase Martin Mancine Jr., age 63, after a hard fought battle with four different cancers over a year and a half, went on to be with The Lord ATC 5:43 AM, Thursday, August 7, 2025, in the comfort of his own bed surrounded by his immediate family.

The family will greet friends on Sunday, August 10, 2025 from 4 to 6 PM at Hatcher Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 3464 Jefferson Davis Highway, Graniteville, South Carolina 29829.

A Celebration of Life service will be at 11 AM, Monday, August 11, 2025, in the chapel of Hatcher Funeral Home.
A private interment will follow in Westover Memorial Park, Augusta, Georgia.

Blase, a loving dad and G-Pop and husband of 40 years, spent 27 years as the Pastor of His Way Fellowship in Graniteville SC, devoting his life to the service and shepherding of the community. He also ran Painters Place, a successful painting company, before becoming a minister and reopened its doors to help fund the church. When not providing counsel, guidance, or ministering to the community, Blase was found at Pine Ridge Golf Club with his friends and family enjoying a round of golf. His other hobbies included tinkering with sports cars, fishing, and spending time with his family.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Beverly Harper and his stepfather, Will Harper. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Cheryl Mancine, his brother James (Kathie) Mancine, his sister Cheryl (Randy) Lovell, his son Blase (Adara) Mancine III, his grandson Blase Mancine IV, his daughter Ellen (Ward) Fuller, grandsons Dawson and Dillon, and many other nieces and nephews too numerous to mention.

Mr. Clarence Edward “Eddie” Cunningham, 72, entered into rest on Thursday, July 24, 2025, peacefully in the comfort of his home.

The family will greet friends on Tuesday, July 29, 2025, beginning at noon at Central
Christian Church, 220 Crawford Avenue, Augusta, GA 30904, followed by a Celebration of Life service at 2 o’clock. Rev. Ashley Buchanan, Rev. Bart Grey, and Rev. Milton Summerall will officiate.

Pallbearers will be Rick Seigler, Scott Buchanan, Jason Cunningham, Ronald Adams, Treye Sharpe, and Josh Hatcher. Honorary pallbearers will be members of the 1971 Class of L.B.C.

Eddie was preceded in death by his parents, Larry David and Carolyn Roberson Cunningham; his maternal grandparents, James E. and Jareta Thompson Roberson; his paternal grandparents, Buck and Lucille Cunningham; and a special cousin, Teresa Stockdale.

Left to cherish Eddie’s memory are his best friend and partner, Donald Adams, of Martinez, GA; his children, Larry Cunningham and Cara Hair, both of North Augusta, SC; his brother, Glen Cunningham, of North Augusta, SC; the mother of his children, Debbie Dickerson; and his beloved grandchildren: Shelby Chalker, Cayla Cunningham, Dillion Cunningham, Taylor Hair, Gracie Hair, and Troy Hair, along with his great-grandchildren, Evelyn Chalker and Blakelyn Cunningham.

Eddie was born in Augusta, GA. He worked at Clearwater Finishing Plant for twenty-one years and retired from Kimberly-Clark Corporation after twenty-six years. Always busy, Eddie’s smile and warm manner made him a welcoming face at Hatcher Funeral Home and Cremation Service, where he served for a total of fifteen years.

He was a former member of Bath United Methodist Church in Bath, South Carolina, where he was the first baby to be baptized. Eddie was a faithful member of Central Christian Church in Augusta, Georgia, and participated in their choir and the Golden Agers.

Eddie never missed a monthly lunch or dinner with his 1971 Class of L.B.C. He was always one to reach out to those he cared about and check in on how they were doing.

Holidays and seasons were a tremendous part of Eddie’s life, especially Christmas. He was known for his creativity and passion for the Christmas season. His home was whimsical and merry, much like a Christmas village itself. He and Donald always made you feel welcome when stopping by for an annual tour.

Mr. Patrick Donald "Don" Ford Love, 67, of North Augusta, SC, husband of Peggy Marie Braxton Love, entered into rest on Thursday evening, July 17, 2025, while in the comfort of his home.

Born in Richmond County, GA, on Valentine's Day 1958, the son of the late Pastor C.B. and Wanda Leigh Virginia Baker Love, he had been a lifelong resident of the area. He graduated from LBC High School in 1976 and furthered his education by attending the University of South Carolina. He was a member of Bethany Baptist Church in McCormick, SC, where his father pastored for many years.

Don spent many years in the insurance industry. Often, he would be the top writing agent. He would always gladly start at the bottom of the totem pole and would quickly work his way to the top.

An avid Gamecock fan, Don took Carolina football to heart. On any given game day, he would either be at Williams-Brice or his home, cheering on the C***s.

He enjoyed traveling, especially taking cruises, playing a round of golf, playing basketball, planting flowers, savoring a cold Diet Coke, and having an iced cup of java. In the Disco era, he was known as "Disco Don".

Along with his wife Peggy, Don is survived by Peggy's children, Jason (Zaniera) Day, Jessica Lee, Hayley (Ryan) Maddox and Logan Fleming, siblings, Mary Love Coakley and Mike (Rachel) Love, grandchildren, Gabriella Day, Lillian Maddox and Sophia Maddox, nephews, Trey Welsh and his children, Ryan, David, Parker and Nola Welsh and Christopher (Beth) Welsh as their son, Colby Welsh, nieces, April (Jason) Osborn and their children, Julia and Baird Osborn and Ashley (Brad) Ivey and their children, Gavin and Emerson Ivey.

By his wishes, Don will be cremated, and the family will hold a private Celebration of Life Service.

Mr. Kenneth Cromer, 91, peacefully entered into rest on Wednesday, July 16, 2025, at the Veterans Victory House, Walterboro, South Carolina.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of forty-nine years, Peggy Fain Cromer, sisters and brothers: Margie Perry, Ella Hook, Elvira Lewis, Bill Cromer, James “Punk” Cromer, Ralph Cromer, Williams P. “Smiley” Cromer, Charles E. Cromer, and Albert “Toby” Cromer.

The family will greet friends on Sunday, July 20, 2025, at Hatcher Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 3464 Jefferson Davis Highway, Graniteville, South Carolina 29829, from 6 until 8 PM. A Celebration of Life service will be on Monday, July 21, 2025, at 10 o’clock in the Hatcher Funeral Home chapel with military honors rendered by the United States Air Force. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens, Graniteville, South Carolina. Honorary pallbearers will be members of the American Legion Post #153 and members of the Bath Fire Department.

Left to cherish Kenneth’s memory are his sons, Jerry Cromer and his wife, Susan, and Mike Cromer, all of Bath, South Carolina.

Kenneth was born in Saluda, South Carolina, to the late James W. and Dollie Miller Cromer. He worked for Bath Mill and Graniteville Company with over thirty-five combined years of service. He proudly and with honor served his country in the United States Air Force. A true patriot, Kenneth continued to serve his fellow veterans, volunteering countless hours to grill hamburgers and hot dogs for the Veterans at the Charlie Norwood V.A. Medical Center, and was even honored as Volunteer of the Year. Always ready to help a neighbor or friend in need, Kenneth donated nine plus gallons of blood to the Red Cross and was a twenty-year volunteer with the Bath Fire Department.

Kenneth treasured camaraderie with his fellow veterans and members of his community through his memberships with the Veterans of Foreign Wars and the American Legion Post #153. He was recognized as the 1991 Citizen of the Year by the L.B.C. Lions Club.

Kenneth enjoyed fishing, camping, watching war movies and John Wayne, cooking stews with the Bath Fire Department, and grilling.

Mr. Richard “Dick” Lindale Postles, 89, of Aiken, SC, husband of nearly sixty-five years to Diana Elaine Kling Postles, entered into rest on Monday, July 7, 2025.

Born in West Chester, PA, a son of the late Ermon Messick and Verna Lindale Postles, Dick was raised in West Chester, PA and graduated from Haddonfield High School. Education was a top priority of Dick’s. He continued his education by obtaining a Chemistry degree from Franklin & Marshall College in Lancaster, PA and later received his Master’s degree in Statistics from the University of Delaware.

1st Lt. Postles served his country with honor and pride in the United States Airforce as a Meteorologist.

A former resident of Amherst, VA he came to the CSRA in 1980. He retired from the former E.I. DuPont Company and later Westinghouse where he was a Statistician.

Dick enjoyed cooking, gardening, woodworking, music, sports and his family.
