Farm Kids Farm and nature-based programming for kids (Handwriting Camp and Fun on the Farm sessions) developed by Paula Metling, Pediatric Occupational Therapist

Offering an eight session handwriting camp targets the foundational skills necessary for handwriting through seasonal outdoor activities and multisensory handwriting practice. The camp includes pre- and post-test handwriting assessments to measure progress. Programming is developed by licensed occupational therapist Paula Metling. New Fun on the Farm is a flexible program of one to two hour sessions starting with a farm chore followed by the child's choice of a variety of nature-based activities. Options include animal care, gardening, nature hikes, tree climbing, building forts, fun with hay/straw bales, nature crafts, outdoor games, light woodworking projects, baking, and more.
