💙 Crater Lake Adventure Day! 💙

What a perfect day to explore one of Oregon’s most breathtaking treasures! With crystal-clear skies and not a hint of haze, we had an incredible view of Wizard Island rising from the deepest lake in the U.S. — a stunning 1,943 feet deep! 🌊✨

We enjoyed a picnic lunch with a view, strolled along the rim, watched a chipmunk sneak food from people (could you find him?), took some beautiful photos, and of course, made a pit stop at the gift shop to pick up a few keepsakes. 🛍️ Both our Memory Care and Assisted Living residents joined in — and we even had some first-timers who were in awe that this majestic beauty is right in our own backyard!

📍 Fun Fact: Crater Lake was formed over 7,000 years ago when Mount Mazama erupted — and today, it’s famous for its vivid blue color and incredible clarity.

Back on May 20th, we shared that we submitted name suggestions to Rogue Creamery for their newest baby calf… and GUESS WHAT?! One of our names was CHOSEN! 🐄💕

We’re beyond thrilled to introduce you to the newest member of the Rogue Creamery family: Misty! 🌿✨

The name Misty was submitted by our very own resident, Ina, and we couldn’t be more proud. We just know Misty is going to help create some of the most amazing products Rogue Creamery has ever made. 🧀💙

In honor of National Give Something Away Day, our community came together with open hearts and generous hands to deliver 75 meals to those in need. The gratitude we received was overwhelming—but even more powerful was the humility and joy our residents felt in giving.

Today was a reminder that kindness doesn’t cost a thing but can change everything.

We challenge you—yes, you—to step out of your comfort zone and do something kind for a complete stranger. One small gesture can ripple into a wave of compassion.

Imagine a world where acts of kindness aren’t the exception, but the norm. Let’s build that world—together.

🎆 Boom, sizzle, YUM! Our 4th of July celebration post be late on your feed, but the fun was absolutely on time! 🇺🇸✨

From finger-lickin’ BBQ to belly laughs with friends, we soaked up every sunny moment. And when the sun went down—boom!—Jacob lit up the community with a firework show that awesome! 💥🙌

🔥 Fun Fact: Americans fire off over 200 million pounds of fireworks every 4th of July—and grill up about 150 million hot dogs while they’re at it! Now that’s explosive fun and flavor!

☀️ Sunshine and Strolls, With Happy Souls! 👟💛

Our Walking Club (or should we say Morning Roll & Stroll 😉) is off to a heartwarming start! Each day, more residents are joining in—walking, rolling, and soaking up that golden morning sunshine.

We’ve spotted bright blooms, shared lots of laughs, and even made a tiny snail friend along the way. 🐌💐

From sneakers to wheels, sun hats to smiles, there’s room for everyone on this joyful journey around our neighborhood.

Come stroll with us—your heart (and your step count) will thank you! 😊👒

🕰️✨ Treasure hunting, memory-lane strolling, and a little feline fun? Yes please!

Our afternoon adventure took us to the Medford Main Antique Mall, where the hallways seem to go on forever—and each one is packed with treasures from the past. Kay even stumbled upon a dish set just like the one she used “back in the day.” Talk about a blast from the past!

And let’s talk about Luna—the adorable shop cat and unofficial “security guard.” She kept a watchful eye on us (between naps, of course) and totally stole the show.

🎩 Fun Fact: Did you know the word “antique” technically refers to items over 100 years old? So that rotary phone you grew up with? Almost there!

🎻 Another Fun Fact: Antique shopping isn’t just fun—it’s eco-friendly! Buying vintage keeps items out of landfills and gives them new life.

If you haven’t wandered through this charming treasure trove yet, we highly recommend it. Just be warned—you might lose track of time… and your heart to a porcelain figurine or two. 💕

🌸 Where flowers bloom, so does kindness. 🌸

Our scenic drive led us to the enchanting rollnrogueacres, a self-serve flower stand overflowing with beauty, heart, and the sweet scent of summer. We were greeted not just by rows of vibrant blooms—but by the incredible woman behind it all.

She’s a full-time firefighter, and somehow still finds time to grow flowers, design wedding arrangements, and run monthly subscription boxes. (Seriously… is there anything she can’t do? 🔥💐💍📦)

With buckets of fresh-cut florals, snips, vases, and a little flower-arranging guidance from the pro herself, our residents created gorgeous bouquets—and left with full hearts. She even gifted us a stunning arrangement that now graces our front desk for everyone to enjoy!
