Through the use of procedural memory skills and other Montessori inspired methods, our staff at The Suites helps support those with dementia, Alzheimer's, and other forms of memory loss. Our SPARK program provides activities that enhance the daily lives of our residents, such as therapy dog days, barbeques, and catching up with friends over a cup of coffee in the coffee bar!

Our community has supported us in so many amazing ways, and we are incredibly grateful. Now we’re firing up the smoker for a Drive-Thru BBQ Fundraiser hosted by our wonderful Resident Council at The Suites Assisted Living & Memory Care!

To our incredible followers… ❤️

To every single person who has shared a post, left a comment, hit “like,” written a letter, drawn a picture, or dropped something sweet in the mail — we are beyond grateful.

We have received hundreds of letters… and they are STILL coming in! 📪✉️
At this point, we’re waiting for our amazing mail lady to slow down before we give a final count!

This week, we passed out what we had — and every single resident received a “mailbox” overflowing with letters, postcards, drawings, photos, and heartfelt cards. Watching them open each envelope was pure magic.

It has been a powerful reminder that goodness still exists.
That in a world that can sometimes feel heavy, we can choose to surround ourselves — even if just for a moment — with love, kindness, and connection.

And here’s the best part… we’re not stopping.
Keep sending them. We will continue to pass them out and keep paying it forward until the very last letter is opened. ❤️

This is what community looks like.

At The Suites, things got a little… groovy. 🌈✨

Tie-Dye Day was in full swirl and our residents were ALL in. There’s just something magical about watching plain white fabric transform into a burst of color — and let me tell you, the creativity was flowing.

Huge shoutout to our Life Enrichment dream team, Kate and Amy — the queens of organized chaos — who never hesitate to roll up their sleeves (literally) and make magic happen. If it involves dye, laughter, and a little mess, they’re leading the charge.

Now… let’s talk about commitment.

One of our sweet residents may have gotten slightly enthusiastic and dyed her hands completely blue. And when we asked what happened, the room erupted with questions:

Did she rob a bank? 💰
Is she turning into a Smurf? 💙
Or was she auditioning for W***y Wonka? 🍫

She took it like a champ and laughed right along with us — because that’s what today was all about. Joy. Fun. Not taking yourself too seriously.

Did you know that Tie-dye techniques date back over 1,500 years, with roots in Japanese Shibori and African textile traditions. It later became a symbol of creativity and self-expression in the 1960s — and honestly, our residents wear it better.

Every shirt turned out different. Every design was unique. And every single smile was brighter than the colors on those tees.

At The Suites, we don’t just host activities… we create moments you’ll be talking about long after the dye fades from your hands. 😉

We had our very FIRST YMCA Day… and let’s just say — it was a splash hit! 💦🏊‍♀️

Some of us jumped right into the pool, some explored and got the lay of the land… but the real showstopper? Miss Linda J.

It has been YEARS since she’s been in the water, and the moment she stepped in, her joy was absolutely contagious. She kept lighting up and exclaiming, “Swimming!!” like it was the very best day ever — because for her, it was. ❤️

There is something so powerful about bringing back moments people thought were behind them. Today wasn’t just about a pool… it was about freedom, laughter, confidence, and a whole lot of heart.

So in honor of Linda and all of our incredible residents — we say, Just keep swimming. 🐠💙

Something a little… wild is coming to The Suites. 🌿🍌✨

When you have the BEST Life Enrichment team around, our weekly event meetings turn big ideas into reality — themes aren’t just discussed, they’re pitched, prototyped, and brought to life in full costume.

Yes… we even had a prototype of Banana make an appearance for décor inspiration. 🐍(Commitment level: expert.)

Let’s just say…
There may be talent.
There may be jungle vibes.
There may be a few surprises you won’t see coming.

We are SO excited about this upcoming event and we’ll be dropping little hints along the way… 👀
