We will be close to the sensory space today, but we will be at the AllCare event from 10 to 2. We hope to see you there! We are sorry about the late news on the sensory space not being open, but we hope you all understand that we have committed to this event and we had a cancellation late last night for running the sensory space and we do not feel comfortable, asking volunteers last minute to be there on a Saturday. Have a great Saturday everyone!

09/11/2025

Today marks 9/11—one of the darkest days in our nation’s history. We pause to remember the thousands of lives lost in the Twin Towers, at the Pentagon, and in the skies, as well as the countless families forever changed. We also honor the first responders and everyday heroes whose courage and sacrifice continue to inspire us 24 years later.

As we reflect on that day of unimaginable loss, we are deeply saddened by the tragedies that continue to unfold in our world. Our hearts go out to the Evergreen High School community after the recent school shooting, a place where MEC Disabilities has supported families and students. We also extend condolences to those mourning the loss of Charlie Kirk, whose work touched many young lives.

Violence leaves deep scars, but it also reminds us of the urgency of compassion, unity, and creating spaces where every individual feels safe and supported.

🕊️ On this day of remembrance, we stand with all who grieve—past and present—and reaffirm our commitment to building a more inclusive, resilient future.
