Dear Patients,

It has come to our attention that beginning this next year, Regence Blue Cross Blue Shield will no longer be covering acupuncture, chiropractic and naturopathic medicine for their plans. We are deeply saddened to see insurance companies move away from covering holistic care, as we know that this is what is in the best interest to your health and wellbeing.

We are hopeful that despite this setback, there will be positive change on the horizon as we move towards progress.

That being said, If you're needing care; this would be the time to get in before the window closes.

Dear Patients,

It has recently come to our attention that beginning January 1st 2024, the Regence Blue Cross Blue Shield Medicare Advantage Primary PPO plan will no longer be covering acupuncture, chiropractic, massage, and naturopathic services.

We are shocked and saddened by this news. Millions of Americans, such as yourself, utilize acupuncture every year to treat their pain and manage their health with great success. We find it reprehensible when insurance providers favor cost over quality healthcare, and we can only hope that they will reverse this decision in the near future.

In the meantime, you do have options. Although the MedAdvantage Primary Plan will no longer cover acupuncture, the MedAdvantage Classic (PPO) & the MedAdvantage Enhanced (PPO) will still offer benefits ranging from 12 – 18 visits per year.

If you anticipate that you will want to utilize acupuncture, chiropractic, massage, or any other complementary medical services in 2024, we highly recommend that you talk with your insurance advisor so that you can make any necessary changes during the open enrollment period.

The open enrollment period for the upcoming year is:
October 15th – December 7th

Furthermore, as we quickly approach the holiday season, we want to wish you and your family health and happiness going forward. And as always, if there is anything we can do to help, don’t hesitate to let us know.
